It's kinda hard to tell with him being black and those aren't good angles. He's not obese, at least doesn't look it to me. What you need to do is run your hand along his ribs and you should be able to feel the ribs, but not like emaciated. They should just be there, covered with muscle. Also look at him standing straight, he should have a waist, as in his body should be wider at the ribs and the hips than the area between them. Again, not in an emaciated manner, but it should be easy to see.<br><br>P.S. the pictures are too large to show on the board, but if you right click and choose to view, it will show the entire picture. Or, you could go into your picture hosting site and change the size of the picture to something smaller and it will affect the size here.

Alright, well he does have a waist, but his shoulders are kinda wide with a couple of rolls, but that's how it's always been. I can slightly feel his ribs, and the muscle as well.
Ok thanks. He actually just got his rabies shot a couple of weeks ago, I just forgot to ask the vet unfortunately. It was a home visit, so he wouldn't have been able to tell me the actual weight anyway.
