ok so Im looking for a good horse to buy cause Im probably getting one this year (summer or sooner) and their all out of my price range mostly
Should I try and lease a horse? theres a chestnut roan I could lease for free.

Depending on where you're living (mainly everywhere in the states from my understanding), quite a few amazing horses are going for next to nothing.
If I had the money for board, I probably would've picked up 3 or 4 that were all under $600.
Look around on sites such as equine.com and just google other horse/farm sale sites.

If you'd like I'd be glad to help search for a few and give you the links.(:
Just need to know price range and your ability (beginner, intermediate, etc).

You probably should lease the horse before you decide to buy it to see if you like it first. Is it too hyper? Too lazy? It's always "safe" to have a little bit of time with them before you spend a lot of money on them and have to pay a lot monthly for a horse that isn't for you. Just sayin' lol
Well I suggest you choose one lol (: But that's just my opinion. If you were looking to the Stally than you should probably lease him first like I said to see if you like him (: But again that's just my opinion (:
Lol.
Well my dad said if I couldn't get a horse soon I could get a calf, I like Charolais, so I said okay, so right now Im planning on getting a calf and showing and breeding it and selling its offspring and keeping some, and stuff lol
