Haha, good! This dog right here is why I hate breed stereotypes. Oliver is her best friend and he's an eighth of her size!

I have to agree. My moms pitbull, he is a sissy when it comes to smaller dogs. xD. He used to play with a jack russell like ALL the time and she would tear the crud out of his cheeks but he never once hurt her. He would always mouth on her and it was so funny to watch because she would kick his butt and she is like SO small compared to him. :P
Awww, so cute. I hate breed stereotypes as well. Its the way a dog is raised and treated that can make it mean or aggressive, not just because its a Pit or whatever.

When I was a kid (probably about 10), our neighbor had this Doberman/Rottweiler mix named Tia. They wanted her to be a gaurd dog, so instead of taking her to training or actually putting any effory into training her for this task they would starve and beat the crap out of her to make her mean. When we moved in she was really shy and scared of us, but we would leave food out for her and eventually gained her trust. We were living in a duplex at the time, with no fence, so she was free to wander both sides of the yard since they never put a leash on her. She was in labor one night and the owners threw her outside to give birth, it was like 30 degrees outside! So we brought her inside our house to deliver her puppies, but it was to late for the two she had already delivered. It was to cold and they died shortly after birth. Some of the other puppies were deaf, some were blind, there was even one puppy who seemed to be deaf and blind. All because of the ways they mistreated her while she was pregnant. We tried reporting the owners to animal control or whatever, we even tried reporting them to the cops. But they didn't do anything about it. Anyway, after awhile Tia started to protect us instead of her "masters", she would sit on our side of the yard and growl at anybody who came to close (including her owners), she would never charge or attack, but she would make sure they knew she was there, she would growl at anybody who came to close until we told her it was ok, then she went right back to being the friendliest dog you'd ever meet. Once her owners knew they could not turn her into a watchdog, they got rid of her. I don't know what they did with her but one day she was just gone as well as her puppies. They replaced her with a Pitbull mix puppy and started the cycle all over again. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble. People like that just make me so angry.
Aww! u shouldve seen if u could hav gotton her lol
I would have taken her and her puppies in a heart beat if my parents would have let me. We tried hiding one of the puppies in the closet and hoping my mom and dad wouldn't notice, but they did...

To judge a breed, especially a Pit is just terrible.

People need to realize not ALL pit bull's are like the killer one's you see on TV.
Som are kind and gentle and loving.

Remember, its not the dog...
We are what makes the Pit a fighter, and it's careless owners that cause this breeds outlook.
