Chinese health balls and a conch piercing

I got myself Chinese health balls. I love them. They make my hands feel good :3 More relaxed.

And I've been thinking about getting a conch piercing. I love piercing my ears [I originally had them at an 18, except my first piercing, which was at a 12 until my brother flushed my gauges down the toilet ;-; ] And I couldn't remember if I had my other four at an 18 or 16. I went with the latter...
Yeah it turns out my ears were at an 18. Oh well. All six of them sting like hell and are red, but it didn't hurt as badly as going from an 18 to a twelve, that's for damn sure.

Anyhow, does anyone have a conch piercing? What about a helix? I was debating on an industrial too, because for the past like four years mom has been saying she'd pay for me to get one...

 • I have an industrial and I got it a month ago on Tuesday. I love it, and I recommend it. When I got my industrial, Kelsey got her conch done.. and it bled like CRAZY and it's hard to take care of because of the pain factor. I can already sleep on that side of my head, but she can't, and she can barely twist it around at all. It's cute, but I recommend an industrial over the conch. Have you considered getting your snug or tragus done? Those are the next two on my list.

Also, I have a really good place that I go to for all my piercings and I will never go anywhere else, if you want the address you can PM me.
I've been thinking about getting a forward helix done, along with my rook...But I'm not so sure about a tragus. They aren't my favorite. My snug is a maybe. Anything other than an industrial I have to discuss with my mom, considering she's the one signing for it.
I do like the look of an industrial, though. The only issue is, if you don't get it done properly, your ear will flop over due to nerve damage...and that's just not attractive.

If I can get my industrial and anything else done, I'll PM you for the address to your place.

 • You guys are brave... I could pierce anywhere else, but my ears... Forget about it!

I'm thinking of getting my labrette done again though.
 • That's why I really like this place. They measure everything out, mark everything, let you look at it before they do everything. And my favorite part is they use surgical grade iodine on you before they stab you with anything. Everyone I've talked to recommends this place. The people are very knowledgeable, and you can tell they know what they're talking about. I haven't had any problems at all with my industrial, and I love the way it looks. I wouldn't trust my piercings with anyone else. And I sound like a representative for the damn place. lmao. But they are incredible.
I'll definitely have to talk to mom about getting more done, considering I have to pay for it. What was the pricing for your industrial, and the pain level?

 • My industrial was $50, and they'll try to get you to buy the salt spray and the soap, but you can use Dial Gold (I asked and she said it was the same thing, just about $3 cheaper) and the H2Ocean spray is cheaper at other piercing places or Hot Topic, they also sell other brands of the spray at Walmart, just not the H2Ocean. It was a little on the expensive side, but it's worth the money if you know it's being done the right way. The conch piercing, if you were still considering that, was $40 and the tragus is $35.

When she pierced it, I heard a pop, which was kind of nasty, but it didn't hurt too bad. It was just a sting, and it went away. About 10 minutes later (as all cartilage does), it got really super red and hot and started throbbing after about half an hour. It throbbed for about two days on and off, but ibuprofin or whatever you take for a headache helps that. After a couple of days, I was able to slide the bar back and forth and twist it around with no issue, and here 4 weeks later I can sleep on that side of my face at night. The most important thing with this piercing, because it is actually two piercings, is cleaning it religiously and remember that because it is two holes, if you bump one, you bump both.
