aka. Azzy, Azzykins, Azzybutt, Pirate, Trix 1. What continent are you from? North America (and being me, I just almost wrote *my country* here. XD) 2. When did you first join VirtualPups and how did you find it? Since Beta, whenever that was... Found it via VHR when Nef announced her new game. 3. What would you say you are best known for on VP? Erm...always needing training or Opping, one of the two. 4. If you could only have ONE kennel type on VP, what would it be and why? Breeding. I don't like sending my dogs off to be (possibly) bred willy-nilly. I can tolerate sending them off for training though. 5. Do you own any personal breeds? If so what are they and something about them. Yup, three: Roadkill Coyote (the slowest and least witty of all Coyotes,) European Draft Mongrel (the canine version of miniature draft horses,) and Shapeshifter (just plain kewl, need I say more?) 6. What is your favorite breed of dog irl, and why? Cocker Spaniel because that's what my little gremlin is! 7. What is your favorite breed of dog in vp, and why? Oh my, there are so many...I guess Dire Wolves, since I spent so many years trying to get them to 10x4...and the fact that huge, extinct wolves are just awesome! 8. What is your favorite pasttime? Fencing sabre! 9. You're stranded on a desert island, what 3 things would you have with you (assume you have food, water and basic shelter)? 1) Scout 2) Savvy 3) My sabre so I can practice fencing! 10. What 3 people (living or dead) would you choose to have dinner with, why? 1) Johnny Depp because he's amazing and I’m *mildly* interested in Pirates of the Caribbean *ahem* 2) William Shakespeare, as I'm sure the conversation would be fascinating (not to mention beneficial to our understanding of his history) 3) Calico Jack Rackham – a first hand account of the goings-on in the Golden Age of sail and piracy would be to die for! (er, no pun intended) 11. Read any good books lately? If so what? The whole Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters. Great writing, characters, and setting. I’m sad to see it end.  It’s about an archaeologist/amateur detective in Egypt at the turn of the century. Each season she encounters some sort of crime/supernatural occurrence. Very good stuff. 12. What was the last movie you watched and what did you think of it? New movie or old? The last newly released film I saw was The Tourist, which I liked very much (it had Johnny Depp in it, which automatically makes anything good.) As for a past release, it was Arsenic and Old Lace starring Cary Grant. Love that movie, it’s hilarious. 13. What is your favorite food? Pizza. 14. Do you have any pets, if so what are they? Dog: Savvy (Cocker Spaniel) Horse: Scout (QH) Fish: a large assortment of bettas (6 at the moment,) fancy guppies, gourami, danios, variatus, and corydoras 15. If you could choose whose next for "Getting to Know" who would you choose? I would love to get revenge—I mean, return the favor to Paper for choosing me, but I guess I’ll have to ask Ori to bother Anastasia. P.S. Pirates rule!!! Hiiii Aziu! Fencing... Now that is an interesting past time! I'm curious as to how you got into that!?! And although I really like/love Johnny Depp, I've been kinda leaning towards Gerard Butler now. Love love love! PotC! Did you know there's a fourth coming out?

I used to fence. =o Only foil, and only for about six months. I was too aggressive for it, and ended up bending quite a few foils at interesting angles. xD;

Mysterous Love -> QH for the win! I love (most) breeds, but I think I'll only ever own QHs. Another interesting fact is that my boy is 2 days older than me. ^^ KittKattize -> I got into fencing when I went off to college. At first it was just a bunch of crazy students messing around, but then we got an actual instructor involved and started a club. Since then I've found another group that hosts classes & can train for tournaments and such closer to home. And of course I'm waiting eagerly for the release of On Stranger Tides - I'm currently working on the costume I'll be wearing to the midnight showing.

Kazuko -> lol if you were destroying foils it sounds like you'd be better suited for sabre (my instructors call it the "psychotic weapon". :P) I've fenced foil and epee before, but I like the cutting motions and speed of sabre, it feels more natural. Plus playing mind tricks on your opponent is way too fun. >:}

I just could never get a hold of all the technicalities... Parry, repost, rerepost... It just got me more and more angry. xD I was learning to fight with medieval style weapons (well, the spear at least) at the same time so I was great at lunging with a lot of force, but not so great about remembering the rules and regulations. |D

Kazuko -> That's awesome, I would love to expand my skills with weapons other than swords, even if it's just stage fighting. :P The way my clubs have taught is less focused on the itty bitty technicalities: basically they tell you where to hit, how to hold the weapon, and then say "go". They do have drills, but they mix in games so it's really user-friendly learning. ^^ Mysterous -> Yep western, with a lot of bareback thrown in. English makes me too uncomfortable--I feel like I'm using a racing saddle. XD Although it's been no riding whatsoever for me since August because my boy tore both his check ligament and digital deep flexor tendon. He's healed amazingly well and I'm hoping he'll be sound enough to ride again this summer. *knock on wood*

Mysterous -> Yep western, with a lot of bareback thrown in. English makes me too uncomfortable--I feel like I'm using a racing saddle. XD Although it's been no riding whatsoever for me since August because my boy tore both his check ligament and digital deep flexor tendon. He's healed amazingly well and I'm hoping he'll be sound enough to ride again this summer. *knock on wood*
