I keep a check on him. His.... Manliness should arrive physically a few days before he starts getting any urges and as soon as he gets to that point the girls will be gone. He's quite used to being pastured alone. For a while after he was weaned my fillies would beat up on him cuz he wanted to attatch himself to them. Aka he tried to run on their hips like he did with his mom and my 4 yr old wasnt pleased. He's used to goin on walks with me too (i walk him in the woods and on the backroads a lot. Good desensitizing) soo he doesnt get all that worried about leaving the other horses or not havin them around.
He's gorgeous, Vamp! :] Love his markings. I know absolutely nothing about horses but it sounds like you're raising him to the best of your abilities, good job! xD
For him, i made sure to make a list of things i knew he needed to do to handle well and ive devoted his first two and a half years too it. I put special enphasis on areas ive had other horses refuse to do. Blaze doesnt like baths, Roman has been trained to like em. Tawny doesnt clip, Roman clips just fine. xD he's my masterpiece! teehee
Oh I know. I don't usually like to either, that's why I said I like "using" meaning I do it too. Plus I don't think it'd be appropriate because of the younger age group and be warned against or whatever. Anywho. I'm off to bed. Night

Vampy D= I had a dream last night that Nova broke her front left leg!!! Omg be careful on her D= in the dream you were riding her in your arena and she tripped twice and the second time it broke her leg D=
Hes not allowed next to him mommy sadly. He still remembers her and he acts dumb when he sees her. Last time he saw her across in the other pasture he reared and pawed at me then attempted to kick me. The only time he's ever done EITHER and lets just say i fixed his wagon right then and there. He's 13.3 HH last time i checked. Ill try to get a pic of him next to one of my mares i have here. His mom and the other horses we have that i dont work with are in a pasture 2 1/2 miles away from here right now.
