fael: Thanks! I thought about the infection thing, but I feel that if you take care of it like you should, you'll be fine. Right now, and for the next month, I'm supposed to wash it AT LEAST twice a day with Dial Gold antibacterial/antimocrobial soap, and spray it with that H2Ocean stuff as mush as possible in between, and then after that for a few months, wash it at least once every other day with the Dial and the H2Ocean, until it gets to the point that I'm washing it whenever I remember to. They said I should be able to change it in about 2 1/2 to 3 months, but that it wouldn't be fully healed for another 6 months to up to 4 years, depending on how well I take care of it and overall how my body heals itself. Kaley: Thank you:) I'm in love with it. xD Moose: There will be no hanging things from my ears. Not unless I can hang things from your lip.

ive had mine done for over a year XD it got infected a good few times but i love mine.. i got my belly button done now, and eventually i'll move on to tongue.. and much much more =] i have an obsession XD

Keeners: I've had my bellybutton done for 3 years now, and it's probably my favorite piercing so far. I'm thinking next will be my tragus and eventually I want a Monroe, but that probably won't happen because of school and everything. Did it get infected because you weren't cleaning it?

I wonder how painful it was.. I heard it was more than other parts of the ear. I got a second lobe piercing on each ear and even that hurt pretty bad to where I went "oow" with almost a little jump. xD I am mainly afraid of the pain more than the infection possibility. I need to get money to get a 3rd piercing on each lobe D<

I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so I normally don't worry about that too much. This did hurt though. I have double lobe piercings, the first was done when I was 3 and the second when I turned 10 (double digits, double holes xD). I got my bellybutton done in March of 08, which was very painful. Got my cartilage pierced on my left ear in January of 09, which I just recently took out because I made the mistake of getting it pierced at Claire's with a gun, and it all but destroyed the cartilage on my ear. And finally, I got the industrial on Feb 15th. I also have my first lobe piercings gauged up to a size 6, which is about the size of a pencil (also as big as I'm going). I'm sort of addicted to piercings, and pain doesn't really bother me. The only piercing I've had an issue with was the cartilage on my left ear, and that has a very logical explanation: don't get ANYTHING pierced with a gun, it's unsafe and unsanitary. The industrial didn't hurt too awfully bad when she pierced it initially, it just popped, which was a little unnerving. Then my ear got super hot and red, and it started to throb about 10 minutes later. It hurt really bad the first day, but after that, so far, it hasn't been too awful unless my hair gets caught on it and I accidentally pull too hard on it. Other than that, I can move it back and forth and it's not too bad. I took a nap on that side of my head on Friday. xD

I just recently got it done, its not infected but i have been getting stuff caught on it XD so far so good though...

I did majority of my piercings myself though...not very smart =3

Mysterous - How am I crazy? Haha. I just like piercings! Keeners - I meant your industrial, silly. I used to get my bellybutton caught on EVERYTHING. I still probably do, it just doesn't hurt anymore hah.
