Valentine's Day

<span style="color:#FF00BF">Happy Valentine's Day~</span><br>Do you have any plans?<br>What treat or treats do you like to get for Valentine's day?<br><br> I'm not doing anything extravagant, but that's how I like it. I don't date, so I use it as an excuse to get the family to spend time together. Unfortunately, we're all pretty busy this year, so most of the day we won't be around, but we are hanging out in the evening. I wanted to make dinner and dessert, but I'm under too much stress from school to take all of that on, so I'm just making our Valentine treat. It's going to be delicious, warm apple crisp with vanilla ice cream! This will be my first time making it, so I hope it comes out right. It's taken a lot of self control to keep myself from making it ahead of time. I'm not a fan of most Valentine's day candy, so I thought making something at home would be better, and I can pack it full of <span style="color:#FF00BF">love</span>~

    Ooh that sounds wonderful (: We still havent decided what were doing but I got chocolates and candles. I was excited. Have a good time with your family!

    I don't believe we have special plans. Last year we made a heart shaped pizza for dinner. I might make some heart shaped brownies and my parents may give us candy but that's about it. Happy Valentine's day!

    This is really the first year we actually did anything for Valentines. Micky's been looking forward to it for a long time, so we baked heart shaped cookies this morning, decorated them and took them around to people who Micky really likes, like the elderly couple across the street, her Grandma and PaPa, etc.

    <br> Originally I wanted to make pizza, but the dough is a lot of work, and no one can agree on toppings. A heart shaped pizza sounds so cute though. Heart shaped brownies sound cute too! I saw recipes for heart shaped brownies on the Betty Crocker website, but I lack a heart cut out to make them.<br><br>

    A friend gave me a chocolate covered pretzel but I think it was just an extra.. either way it tasted good xD. <br><br>Most of the day was pretty normal for me. My girlfriend and I didn't do anything special since she was starting a new school today and we just celebrated our anniversary not too long ago. All the home-made things we made for each other really wore us out. xD<br><br>Your apple crisp sounds really good! I try to avoid sweets but it's too hard. I have a bad sweet tooth! =)

    <br>I don't know how late it is, but happy anniversary and valentine's day~<br>I actually don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I really love cinnamon cooked apples, so I've been dying to make this(I'm too lazy to make an actual apple pie XD). I just got done eating my apple crisp, and it came out really good, but <span style="font-style:italic">very </span>sweet(my mother added extra sugar!). I don't handle sugar well, so now I'm dealing with some mild stomach cramps. A cup of water and some rest should have them gone in about 30 minutes though, so it's no big problem. The house smells so good~ I wish it smelled like this all the time.

    Im not sure which brand I think Whitmans or something like that. Whatever it was its good xD its like one of those assorted boxes. And the candles were cherry, chocolate, and white chocolate :)

    I didn't really get much sweets for valentines day, but since I don't have a boyfriend anymore its just thing my mom gets for me :) She got me: reeses, socks xD (I got ones that have the green aliens from toy story on them, the cat from alice and wonderland on the and of course snoopy socks :P) and also the secretariat book :) I also got a card from my best friend which also made my day so this year I learned its means more to me when gifts are from family and friends. I hope everyone else had a great valentines day :)

    My Valentine's Day was the best I've ever had. I normally have class on Monday nights, so Josh and I didn't make any plans. Well, something came up and class got canceled, so I was over at my best friend's house (because she rides to class with me, and I just stayed at her house when we found out class was canceled). Anyway, for those who don't know, she and Josh's brother have been dating for almost 2 years now, so we're all really close and so are our families. Her mom offered to make us steak and invite the guys over for dinner. Josh was working with Kelsey's dad, and I thought they were still working, because Kelsey's dad wasn't home yet. Little did I know she was texting Josh the whole time we were talking about this. Kelsey and I went to take the dog out around 5:30, and here comes Josh's Jeep. He hops out all dressed and cleaned up nice with a heart shaped balloon and a single red rose, and tells me to get in my car and meet him at my house, because I needed to change because he made dinner reservations. I've never had anyone surprise me and take me out like that, and I've never had a guy that actually cared enough to so much as come see me on Valentine's Day. So it was pretty awesome:)
