Death In The Furry Family - Updated *Happy Ending!*

2-10-2011<br>My family fosters puppies for our local high kill animal shelter. Sometimes, the puppies catch a deadly virus called parvo. It causes the inside of their stomach to disintegrate and they most often die. We haven't had much death until now. My favorite puppy Kylar, a 10 week old Boxer mix caught parvo and passed away yesterday morning. His brother Kashew, my second favorite, died two days ago, and my neighbors dog they gave us to foster, Kenzie the 10 week old Lab mix went to the rainbow bridge this morning. I miss them terribly, but I miss Kylar the most. He was beautiful. The only survivors of his litter are his two brothers, Kieran and Kainaan. We still have our fingers crossed they will live. I will add updates and pics soon. Until then, goodbye. Farewell my beloved Kylar.<br><br>2-11-2011<br>Just an update on the remaining boys. They are doing great! Kainaan is eating normally and Kieran is as playful as ever. When I get to my computer I will upload some pictures.<br><br>2-15-2011<br>Well Kieran and Kainaan are finally well enough to be posted on the Petfinder website to be adopted. I am sending their pics to be posted tonight.<br><br>6-28-11<br>Just wanted to let everyone know, the boys got adopted quickly and the family heard their story and wanted to get them both so they could stay together. Kainaan's new name is Jake and Kieran is Farley and they live on a farm with lots of chickens to chase : ) their family even emailed us some pictures so we could see how happy they are in their new home.
