Death in the Furry Family

edited February 2011 in Vent
2-10-2011<br>My family fosters puppies for our local high kill animal shelter. Sometimes, the puppies catch a deadly virus called parvo. It causes the inside of their stomach to disintegrate and they most often die. We haven't had much death until now. My favorite puppy Kylar, a 10 week old Boxer mix caught parvo and passed away yesterday morning. His brother Kashew, my second favorite, died two days ago, and my neighbors dog they gave us to foster, Kenzie the 10 week old Lab mix went to the rainbow bridge this morning. I miss them terribly, but I miss Kylar the most. He was beautiful. The only survivors of his litter are his two brothers, Kieran and Kainaan. We still have our fingers crossed they will live. I will add updates and pics soon. Until then, goodbye. Farewell my beloved Kylar.
