Okay, so 4 days before the start of the semester the instructor for my history class was replaced. I had already ordered $100+ dollars in books for that course, and they were in transit when that was announced. The new instructor required COMPLETELY new books! That was really frustrating, and cost another $150+ to get the new books at the campus store the day the class was supposed to start. I've been trying to contact this teacher(it's an online course), and have not heard anything back from him. My first email was on 1/15/10 and my second email was on 1/17/10. School started 1/18/10. He posted an announcement earlier this week to tell us(the students) our syllabus is posted, and then it's not. Tonight he posted an announcement saying our 1st lecture is up, and once again it's not. Some other students made posts in the course discussion board to see if anyone has heard anything, and apparently this guy is not answering anyone. It's extremely frustrating! I'm going to have to contact the dean tomorrow morning, and I will be LIVID if the course is canceled, and I can't get a refund for my books, or if this instructor takes out HIS mistakes on the students. It's not our fault we are now a week behind, because he doesn't know how to use the equipment and can't be responsible enough to respond to emails.
I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through
