My first tablet drawing.

edited January 2011 in General Discussion
Yikes. Drawing on a tablet is a lot harder than I expected. I can't adjust easily enough, it's so much different then pen and paper, so my drawings are terrible. I seriously need help. If anyone has tablet experience, I would appreciate tips :D.

My absolute first attempt was a wolf, and it was really just a bunch of scribbles, so I will post my second drawing, an apple! <a href="http://tinypic.com/m/e13i87/4"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://tinypic.com/m/e13i87/4

You can now see that I really need help, I can't figure out anything!

 • Practice, practice, practice!

It takes a lot of getting used to, but trust me, it's worth it!
Don't get discouraged!
You can always draw on paper, scan it, and then trace or color it with your tablet. That's always a good way to get the feel of things.

 • Took me two years to get used to mine. ^^ It's really just a matter of hand-eye coordination. I had a friend pick up my Intuos 4 (a $500 tablet) for the first time and in a matter of minutes she had it down.
