I JUST got him from the local pet store so that might be why he seems skinny. When I held him, his hips felt like they needed quite a bit more meat on them.
Off topic, but I thought it was stupid that when I was buying him that they told me, "He needs chew blocks, maybe you should buy some." But for the the couple of months he sat in the store, they didn't give him any chew blocks whatsoever...

Felix? Haha, not too sure whether I like the name or not, but thanks for the suggestion. (:
Well, Felix means 'Lucky', if that has any effect on it. xD

Some other names I think may fit:

Dexter
Ripley
Max / Maximilian
Benjy
Chance
Figaro
Levi
Oliver / Ollie
Quinn
Otto
Romeo

Naming things is.. something of an obsession of mine. My grandma used to joke that I'd name each of my toes if I could remember them all.

But he is a really handsome boy, and I'm sure he'll flourish with your care.
It WOULD be a smart idea to get him some chewing blocks. Rabbits teeth NEVER stop growing and i had a friend who's rabbits teeth literally grew through his nose and killed him. Chewing for rabbits is a natural instinct and if not given something to chew on they will FIND something to chew on.

Oh, yes, I know that. I just thought it was odd that they're telling me it's a main neccessity when they won't even supply them in the first place, you know? But I'll definitely but him lots of chew toys, for sure.
He just doesn't seem like a Felix to me. And my mom doesn't like the name, and without her, I wouldn't have him -- so I'd like to keep her happy with his name aswell.

He's extremely "at home" already and likes our cat's toy tunnel. I'm trying to find out what toys he likes and he seems to love pushing plastic balls around with his nose.
I've almost decided on the name Rex. I've joked about naming him Taz, Spazz, or Trouble because he likes to freak out when you pick him up and get into things he shouldn't. Any of those three names would definitely suit his personality, but I'm waiting for something to just click. (:

Anyone with GOOD experience on introducing two male rabbits? I'd like to introduce him to my sister's rabbit, Milo, but he's a little bit smaller than my rabbit. The pet store employee told us that they tried to home him with a rabbit he hadn't been raised with, and they DID NOT get along. It could've been that particular rabbit, but I'm going to do some researching on introductions. Someone with first-hand experience would be wonderful though.
I have raised rabbits for a while now, both for show and personal pets. The rabbit doesn't see too skinny, but a little bit more food goes a long way in rabbits. I love the color! Almost a Carmel? Once they become chubby, I found it was very hard to slim them down. I found that giving them a good amount of quality and small quanity of good grain is best.

In response to the person wanting to introduce the two male rabbits, unless they have been neutered from very early on, males will fight, and even in some cases even castrate and kill each other. I wouldn't advise since they already don't seem to like each other... but girls will bond as well as castrated males. I have a very well behaved female rabbit, smaller than the other female that I introduced her to to have as a friend, and almost immediately she tried to take the others eye out, and going right for her throat. Some of the bunnies like friends, and in Opal (one of my favorites) she prefers to be the only bunny!

Does anyone on here know of any type of arthritis supplements for rabbits?
I'll post a pick!
Oh and I have introduced two girls, and they lived togeather for 9 years, and had litters, and were very happy, but it took a few diffrent pairings to figure out they were right for each other.

How many other folks on here have rabbits? Maybe we all should have a thread.. or topic!
I breed and show californians. About a month ago i had 7 rabbits. 5 Cali's and 2 Netherland dwarfs but oth my very expensive dwarves died and one of my mother does died 3 days after having a litter of 8, none of which survived. Then my moms dog killed another doe of mine... one got a bad infection and had to be put down, and i rehomed a rescued buck. Right now im down to a pitiful 2 and a litter of 6. HOWEVER im going in the morning to check out a buck. If i were positive it were legal and i had it up to date i would post my rabbitry website, ut since i dont, PM me and i can get it to you
Ahh! Those are a nice size bunny! i had Belgians, and minis, but since college arrived, down to the last two- the favorites- sorry to hear about the rabbits, sometimes things happen and its frustrating. have you thought about meat pen? I don't know much about it, but I hear Californians are good for it.
Actually 2 of my 3 were FROM meat pens. I personally showed my doe Rosie 2 years ago and got 5th in county with her pen, and the buck i bought today, Ranger won 3rd in a meat pen at one of the major shows. My other girl Ruby is a daughter of Rosie and was never shown but is built better than Rosie. And i have a 2 week old meat pen growing in my rabbitry as we speak.

Venom: Their eyes? That's so silly, haha. I think red/pink eyes are adorable. (:

Totouser: Well, to different people he looks like he suits a different name.
