Changing a Dog's Name

Hi. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but it happens often to me. I am naming my dog and maybe I accidentally misspell it or something of that nature and then I am not able to change it. I know it would be annoying if after someone bought your dog they would be able to change it, but maybe the name changing option would only be allowed to the original owner of the dog. Just a suggestion:) Thanks for reading.

You can change a dog's name if you typo and catch it before doing anything else. Just hit backspace. Otherwise, I'm against this. If a name's inappropriate let an op know, and they can change it, or if it's obviously typod, they'll change it too.

If a name is misspelt, just put a ticket in through support and supply the correction, we can correct the misspelling.. Be aware, it's a correction, we won't change the name on the dog, just fix the spelling.

I want to be able to change a dog's name. What if you don't like a name, or it's too long for you? You should have the choice to name YOUR dog. You can change the picture, and even the fur color; why not the name? Yes, there should be a limit to how long the name can be, but people should be able to decide what THEY name THEIR dog.

Then why dont you just name it what you want in the first place? People in real life dont randomly say "i dont want to call him boomer anymore.. im gonna start calling him rex" ect.

What about players eliminating kennel brands from dogs they've purchased? I know if I put my brand on a dog and someone bought it and was able to erase my brand I'd be pretty upset. Or, if a player were to name dogs inappropriately and someone else reported it to an Op, the offending player could change the name real quick and there would be no proof of the offense. I do not think this option should be added.
