Well. I'm really frustrated. As some of you know, if you even know who he is, know that I'm close friends with Stephen Jerzak and his band. Particularly his keyboardist, Adam. Love these guys so much. They've been here twice on tour in the past couple months, and I always get backstage to their shows and such. When they were here in September, they got into town on a Monday night when their show wasn't until Tuesday, so I got to chill with them at their hotel the night before, which was nice, but then the venue they played at wouldn't allow them to have a guest list, and I couldn't afford the $40 ticket on such short notice. So I ended up not being able to go to the show, but I did get to hang out with them.<br><br>They were back here this past Saturday, they got into town about 2:30 and I got down to see them around 4. I got to hang out with them before the show, and Adam a lot during the show. Four bands played, which I'm sure nobody here has heard of at least two of them. Action Item, The Scene Aesthetic (more friends haha), Stephen and Allstar Weekend, in that order. I was all excited for Stephen, Adam and Tyler to get to play.. well. Todd goes to set up the equipment, and could only get Stephen's mic to work and none of the amps. SO. Stephen got up and played with his acoustic guitar by himself. Without Adam and Tyler (his drummer). I was SO upset. Then I ended up having to leave early because I almost passed out from lack of food, so I didn't get to hang out with them after.<br><br>I only get to see these guys like two or three times a year, so I'm really pissed I couldn't see them all perform. \: And I've barely gotten any time with them without annoying people all over them at venues. -sigh- Am trying to get them to play at my birthday party, though.
