Ohemgee!
I finally went to see Harry Potter Part 1 last night, LOVED IT.

Off the top of my head I can't remember anything of the movie that I didn't like.
Of course there were bad things in it, but that's the way the book is written.
I was -really- happy that they followed so closely to the book this time.

Example. The George vs. Snape mid-flight battle. When George woke up, what he said was pretty darn close to what he says in the book. I was thrilled. About that battle, I had tears in my eyes when Hedwig got hit by protecting Harry. she did her job and I knew she died, but it still made me sad!

I did realise in a few scenes, like the one where Harry, Ron and Hermione had been on the run for a while; weren't they supposed to overhear a goblin, Tonk's dad and Dean (from their year at school) talking about escaping because of their blood?
And speaking of Tonk's dad. The safe-houses in the beginning should have been the 7, and then portkeys to the Burrow. That disappointed me a little that that didn't happen, but it didn't ruin the movie, so it doesn't bother me now.

[I'm literally going over the movie in my head, trying to remember anything else that was out of place]
Another thing I noticed was that Dobby's voice had changed, it was a little higher pitched. But he was still really cute, especially when him and Kreacher returned to Grimmauld Place with Mundungus, and Dobby kept pushing Kreacher out of the way as he told his story. The whole cinema laughed at every scene Dobby was in. My favourite was Dobby at the Malfoy Manor, undoing the chandelier, and how he had a massive smile while doing something to help Harry Potter. I loved his shoes! They were so big and cute looking on him!

Anyone notice we didn't see Dudley's face at all?
& how random was George when he sneaks into the kitchen when Harry & Ginny are kissing, and puts his toothbrush in his ear and stands against the counter, looking all brotherly?
The scene with Xeno Lovegood was quite good too, like when Hermione was reading the story, and the little 'story people' that accompanied her voice. And Ron interrupting her, "mum always said Midnight .. but Twilight is good, better in fact, yeah Twilight is much better" ..
& Wormtail didn't die. I thought that was stupid, that was .. well not a key point in the book of course, but it had meaning because of something Dumbledore mentioned to Harry in the 6th book.
A really cute scene when Harry gets Hermione to dance and he looks like a complete dweeb. Funny though!
Ron's splinched arm looked kinda cool.. Slabs of skin missing, thank god for that handbag I say!

Anyway.
If you've seen it (which I hope you have before you read this) post what your favourite scene/s are, and what you liked most and didnt like at all.
