Ideas for Break? :)

Haha. Yea.<br>So, my friends and I have a week off for Thanksgiving<br>BUT we're all broke.<br><br>Now its like 60 degrees in Southern California, and that's hella cold so we dont really wanna spend our time cliff diving or swimming, but we're all willing to freeze a little in absolutely necessary. <br><br>However, no one has an idea of what to do.<br>We've thought of:<br>Camping<br><br>And that's about it.<br>So I was hoping that someone would have some great suggestions as to what a group of about 5 city kids can do over break thats fun and affordable. <br><br>:) Thanks.

    How broke? <br>I think camping would be fun. What about fishing while camping? You can typically rent poles cheap if you don't have any. A 1 day license shouldn't be too expensive either. Unless they've raised it, it should be right around $10 for an adult.<br>I don't know where in SoCal you are, but Knott's Berry Farm tends to have a lot of deals. Last time I went I paid $30 for a ticket.<br>I don't know if it would be fun to you, but San Diego's Botanical Gardens are $12 for adult tickets.<br>You could also go hiking at one of many California Nature Preserves.<br>If you're not to far from the coast, then you could go whale/dolphin watching. It would probably be about $20-$30.<br>The La Brea Tar Pits are interesting too, and admission is cheap.<br>The Los Angeles Zoo is also reasonable.

    Yeaa, the problem with camping is that most of us cant go if there is no "responsible adult" chaperoning us. <br>Which... is fail. But anyways!<br><br>Thanks PrinceSushi. :)<br>We've thought about heading down to SD for some warmth, but who knows.
