Well, for Spanish III we're doing postcards. I chose Zagreb, Croatia and I was writing in English first, like I've done the past 3 years as well. She's never said anything about how we're not allowed to write in English first, and it's easier for me, so that's what ima keep doing. She had to come up to me all pissy and tell me about how if she even thinks I used one of the Internet translators she plans on givig me a 0..I don't think that's fair, truthfully. Like, how are yu going to just assume something and give me a 0 because I may have used a translator? She knows I'm good at spanish, it comes to me like I've already learned it before and it's all just review, so I don't understand why she'd even feel that way...
But anywho, not really the main point. My main point was, how do yu think it sounds in English?

Hey Drew,

I'm in Zagreb, Croatia and it’s a beatiful city. It’s located in the center of Europe, and the summer is rather nice. The temperature has been about 75 the whole weekend. Zagreb is even more interesting than I thought when I set up my visit. There is a lot of parks and museums, along with lovely looking houses. I went to Maksimir Park on my second day there, the Portal is the most interesting thing there, I think. The Portal has great columns, four total, which appeared in 1914. Two of these columns connect an arch that has lines of Ivan Gundulić’s poetry engraved into it, creating the entrance for visitors. I saw two monuments, one created by Robert Frangeš-Mihanović called King Tomislov, and one by Ivan Meštrović, called The Well Of Life. I visited two museums and an art gallery already, The Museum of Arts and Crafts (Trg maršala Tita 10), the Croatian Natural History museum (Demetrova 1), and the Archealogical Museum (Trg N. Š. Zrinskog 19). They were all interesting and informative. I'm having a lot of fun here.

Your Friend,

Amanda

I think it's good, I just have to translate it over and rewrite it now. And I just realized how much I actually want to visit there, it's actually extremely beautiful.
Anyway..just thought I'd share something I've been working on and see what yu guys think of it.
