iTunes...Probem?

So I'm trying to update the software for my ipod touch. I am home from the fair for the night rather than staying there so I decided to update my ipod...WELLL! It took an hour to update itunes... now it's updating the software but it's taking FOREVER! And my tower for my computer is growling at me >.< It's making some odd noises It's been saying "Backing Up iPod Touch" for like 45 minutes and the bar hasn't moved AT ALL. Did anyone else have this big of an issue when updating itunes/software? Halp me!

It told me that too but it's been an hour and nothing has even changed. Not the bar, or the %, or anything. It's still at 2% >.< grrr I'm debating on closing it and losing everything on my ipod or letting it run all night

Do you have all the files from your ipod on the computer? Then I would just cancel the upgrade and start it again. Sometimes they get stuck and that works

I would just let it run. That happened to mine and i just went to bed and let it update and it was done when i woke up.
