Miners Rescued

Has anyone heard that the miners trapped for over a month are being rescued? Last I heard 22 of the 33 had been rescued-I could be wrong though. I bet they're so happy to be breathing fresh air. I can only hope the rest of the rescues go smoothly and that they are all okay. I can't imagine what it would be like to be trapped underground for so long. They are definatly brave people.

    I was watching them being helped out of the ground on the news a few days ago. <br>Can't even imagine how they must feel, being stuck there so long. And their poor families too.

    23 up now.. The miners just started being lifted earlier today, middle of the night for those in the U.S.

    I think it's pretty ingenious how they are getting them out. Heck, I think it's plain amazing that they've kept them alive. Normally mining accidents like that go horribly wrong.

    I think it's 25 now. I agree, it's wonderful that they can get them out like that. I've been reading the updates online and looking at the pictures, and the miners and their families look so happy, and relieved. I read about one who brought up rock souvenirs from the mine. It seems like they are trying to be positive. I know I couldn't be in that situation- I'm so glad they're getting them out.

    We watched a live stream of it this morning in my Anatomy class. The rigging they had to lift them outta there was pretty cool! They all looked so happy to be coming outta there!

    I watched one of the miners get pulled up over web streaming and i almost cried.<br>It was so sweet. I believe he was the 14th miner up. He went straight to his wife.<br>I loved watching it so much!
