There is a boy in my class, let's call him Jim. Well, last week someone found out Jim broke is ankle while playing football. Of course, they told everyone. Many people thought Jim deserved it. He can be rude sometimes, or make sarcastic comments, but he's not a bad person and no one deserves a broken bone. Everyone started laughing. One of the teachers told them it wasn't funny and he wouldn't laugh at one of them if they broke a bone, but they didn't stop. After a couple of days someone said, "Why doesn't Jim come back, it's not like he can't go to school, it's just a broken ankle." If it was me I know I'd want to take a few days to get used to my cast, practice with the wheel chair, and rest before coming back to school. I doubt any of them would want to come right back to school either, and they shouldn't be making comments about that. Obviously it hurt and was fairly serious, conidering he will need surgery to heal it completly. One kid even made the comment, "Jim broke his ankle, it's not funny guys. It's hilarious."

He came back today, and some people even laughed to his face. If they had a broken bone, would they want people laughing at them? Would they want people saying they deserved it? Would they want people saying it was no big deal when to you it is a big deal and it affects your life? I sure don't think so.

People are rude. =P
