Rude

There is a boy in my class, let's call him Jim. Well, last week someone found out Jim broke is ankle while playing football. Of course, they told everyone. Many people thought Jim deserved it. He can be rude sometimes, or make sarcastic comments, but he's not a bad person and no one deserves a broken bone. Everyone started laughing. One of the teachers told them it wasn't funny and he wouldn't laugh at one of them if they broke a bone, but they didn't stop. After a couple of days someone said, "Why doesn't Jim come back, it's not like he can't go to school, it's just a broken ankle." If it was me I know I'd want to take a few days to get used to my cast, practice with the wheel chair, and rest before coming back to school. I doubt any of them would want to come right back to school either, and they shouldn't be making comments about that. Obviously it hurt and was fairly serious, conidering he will need surgery to heal it completly. One kid even made the comment, "Jim broke his ankle, it's not funny guys. It's hilarious."

He came back today, and some people even laughed to his face. If they had a broken bone, would they want people laughing at them? Would they want people saying they deserved it? Would they want people saying it was no big deal when to you it is a big deal and it affects your life? I sure don't think so.

People are rude. =P

 • People are rude and just plain old harsh. I can think of a situation with my school that happened about two years ago. Someone had died by suicide and I think she was two classes above me. Because this happened right before our homecoming assembly, they cancelled it. The homecoming dance itself was not cancelled thought. The school though it was inapropriate to continue with that the next day after this happened to the girl. I was in a freshmen art class (as a sophmore) and some of the comments they made were just terrible! They said things like "why couldnt she have done that after homecoming?" ARE YOU SERIOUS? I heard some other bad comments throughout the day. The school was letting kids go home that were friends with this girl so they could mourn and in our library they had a support group. Just the bad comments were overwhelming horrible. I remember I was just too mad about what they were saying and just upset so I left school and came home. Once I got home I got my dog and took a quiet walk to myself.

Kids can be just cruel. Doesn't matter if a kid isn't the nicest or most liked. No one deserves to be harmed
Same here! 2 years ago we had a kid (lets call his Patrick) that also committed suicide and also a girl (lets call her Jane) Patrick was in the high school and Jane was i the middle school (separate buildings but next to each other) After Patrick past on this girl (we will call her Michele) was at the wake for Patrick she told people ''he deserved to die'' and all that horrible stuff, Before Jane committed suicide people on the bus were tormenting her because she was labled 'emo' (I don't believe in labeling people) on the bus they kept saying stuff like ''I dare you to kill youself.. you wont!'' and ''you should prove us wrong and just do it'' well the next day she did it :/ people can be so horrbile and rude. Nowadays it seems like some people don't have respect for anyone.. its a shame
