I know I've been posting a lot of vents lately. Ha. Well, this one's taking away my stress reliever.

I babysit for this couples child. They live not even a block away from me, maybe like 5 houses. I can see their house from my driveway. His mom I believe works for the post office, and his mom's boyfriend is an engineer.
This kid was supposed. -supposed-. To be coming over at 5:15pm, and instead is coming over at 3:40. My mom works nights and is sound asleep by that time getting ready for her night shift. My brother is Autistic, and this kid isn't playing with a full deck of cards either. I'm sorry if that offends anyone, but if you have two special education children in one house with an overly stressed out mother and me, it's not going to end well.
Normally, his mom's boyfriend is home about 6-ish, and comes to get him. The child wasn't picked up until 7.

-_- I can't run.
Never got to finish this.

I just looked at the log, and he's staying for close to five or six hours a week. I can't get homework done because I'm trying to keep both my brother and this kid quiet so my mom can sleep. And then, by the time he's picked up [latest was 9], I can't go anywhere to run or work out [I like to go to the track...the running group meets there on Tuesdays, so I go run up at the middle school], and it's cutting into my free time.
Plus, I don't get any calls when they are running late or if he isn't coming over [like today, I sat around for 2 hours waiting for him to come over, or at least a call. His mom always calls from a work number, and her number changes every day.]

It's just becoming a strain on my family, because it's cutting into our dinner time, family time, and my time when I go and hang out with friends on Wednesday nights. Not just because I can't go and run, but because by the time he is picked up, I haven't had dinner yet, we're forced to feed this kid when we have enough trouble putting food on the table as is [even with mom working now], and he tried to steal my brothers shoes. ):

 • So tell them you can no longer handle the situation and they need to find a new babysitter? And if you dont want to do that then you'll just have to deal with it. (Not intended to sound harsh in any way. More like stern encouragement)
Thing is, it's pulling in money and I'm saving up for something really important. I'm going to have to talk to Mary tomorrow when I get home from school because I have a place I need to be at on Wednesdays by 7... and my dad whines his damn ass off if he's stuck with the kid for fifteen minutes and I really don't need to be hearing that. He can live, I'm stuck with his kid for the majority of my summers taking him places because my parents can't take him anywhere... he can deal with my charge for 15 minutes extra :/ Can't he?
