• Looks like a "teacup" Pomeranian, or a Pomeranian mix; however, I've seen many Asian Pomeranian breeders breed in facial features like that on poms.
I highly advise against ever getting one, or at least not without a ton of research on the dog and breeder. "Teacup" pomeranians are generally inbred, or bred from poor parents to quickly obtain small size and cute looks without any though put into the health effects. Now, you can still get a 3-4 pound pom that's not a "teacup" pom, and if from the right right parents it will be as healthy as a 5-8 pound pom.

<a href="http://www.thebombpoms.com/Teacups.html"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://www.thebombpoms.com/Teacups.html

EDIT:
Okay, so I went to the site this dog comes from:
Our puppies price usually range from $2500 to $4500 based on their quality and size. We only import top 1% teacup size puppies from Korea and they are one of the cutest and tiniest puppies you can find.
Just as I thought. "Teacup" poms from Asia, with the stereotypical outrageous price tag.
Anyone who buys from them might as well buy from a puppymill, because they tend to be the same quality.

I own 2 poms at the moment, and I've owned many more in the past. If you're thinking about getting one, and want some info on them feel free to ask me.
I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through deviantART.
  • I agree with Sushi, anything teacup is a big no.
  • Teacup anything are inbred runts big no no. Ridiculously cute but probably has a lot of health problems.
  • thanks for all the info, sushi. but i wasn't thinking of getting one, i was just wondering. (:
because it's just so freaking adorable. <3

& guys, i KNOW that teacups are generally unhealthy. -_- no need to tell me. c:

Sadly, a lot of people don't know, and no one can tell if you do or not. I don't think anyone was accusing you of not knowing, they were just giving information. I think it's important for anyone reading the post to know anyway ;D

& to me... that thing is nothing but a poof xD

I agree!!

I don't find them attractive at all, there eyes BULGE out of their head because they are too big for their body.
What good is a dog that small anyways? I'd be afraid to kill it if it got in between my legs or something, my brothers dachshund was even tiny like that (now he's a sausage xD) and I was afraid of loosing him. Haha. If someone wants something small and cute I recommend a reputable miniature/toy breeder (ex. Miniature poodle, toy poodle, etc.) and even then I would be wary because of the "cute factor" that most breeders try to sell out.

I AGREE!!!! My chihuahua Heaven, when she was a puppy, she would fit in the palm of my hand. I was SO afraid of losing her or her getting stepped on!! Now shes 5 and weighs 8 pounds total xD
  • I don't like dogs that small but I know a 2 1/2 lb chihuahua who's awesome. Runs mini agility and bosses around the 3 malamutes she lives with. She would probably be sold as a teacup by some breeders but the rest of the litter were 5/6lbs which the breeder was aiming for she was just small. I'm still scared of stepping on her though I don't think I could have a dog that small
  • That looks like a baby seal to me...just me? Okay xD
