my dog can pee wherever he wants!!

:evil: ugh!!so today i was walking my dog ikaika and then my dog pooed on a little grass area and this old man come running out and says this exactly" :evil: you rotten kid!you let your stupid dog poo on my property!"i said"he can poo werever he wants this is a free country :x !!!"he says ''i dont care!!your STUPID mutt pooed on MY lawn!!"i say"he is not a mutt!he is a purebred!!!and dont call him stupid!and this is not your lawn!(he pooed on the rectangle patch of grass on the street side)!!!!"(a doggy bag in my hand)"wateva"says the old man..i say in my head"Crusty old man"<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br> wetnose101O.O

    <br> I will first correct you by saying that this is not a free country in the sense that we can do whatever we want, and your dog can not potty wherever he wants. You still have to follow a huge list of laws, such as property laws. If that land does belong to that man, you can't let your dog potty there(even if you pick it up), unless you want to risk being fined for various things. I have actually seen a few situations where you wouldn't assume the person owns the land, but upon getting documentation from the city or builder they technically do own it. <br><br>My suggestion to you is to avoid that area in the future, or you are just asking for trouble, since there seems to be a disagreement on whether it is public or private land.

    I have to agree with PrinceSushi. If someone let their dog go potty on my property I'd be upset myself. Especially if they said their dog could "go" wherever he wanted to. If something like that happens again, the best thing to do would be apologize and say "I'm sorry about that, I'll clean it up right away."

    Aww, I know I was scared to death I promise you, there is this guy that sits and stares out the window waiting for the perfect little kid and there dog to pass by, my dog went pee in his yard, he opened up his door, walked out. "Don't leave that there!" He yelled. I repiled " Well you know what sir, I don't usually pick up my dogs PEE! I will aways pick up her poop but I don't remove pee." Then he says " Do NOT leave that in my yard!!!" I was like " Sir, for the last time, I don't pick up my dog pee (I even had a bag in my hand so if she went poop...)" He kept yelling at me and freaked my dog out, threatended to call the cops...dang man, I walked home, grabed a water bottle, went and rinsed of that mans yard...people. I don't get people who don't have pets.
