This page can be edited and HTML added in to it. <br>To view it, click the icon with the dog house and magnifying glass. We do not provide HTML support when designing your page, however there is plenty of resources on the web. Just do an internet search on "HTML help" or visit <a href="
http://virtualpups.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=49" target="_blank" class="bb-url">the art section</a> for advice, or to purchase a layout created by one of our other players. <br>Chat rooms, forums, music, videos and links to outside websites (except as needed for copyright) are not allowed on your kennel page. Pages are monitored and must follow the terms of service, they can not be offensive or disruptive and anything that is deemed to be disruptive or against our rules will be removed from the page, or the entire page deleted, and depending on the incident, your account may be in trouble. <br> When an user views your kennel, they see the information you see. Dogs for stud and for sale are always listed up top of the list as so they are the first dogs people see.<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Short Description</span><br>When someone views the online list or list of kennels, they are also able to read a short blurb by you. This would be edited under management, edit kennel and the short description. HTML code is not allowed here, so you will have to stick to words alone.<br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold">Bookmarks</span></span><br>Bookmarks are a convenience feature for you. There are two types of bookmarks, ones you add to kennels, events and dogs, and ones that are automatically placed in your bookmarks. When you bid on a dog, a bookmark will be automatically placed in your bookmarks section. When you bet on a dog in an event, the bookmark will appear as an uncollected bet. <br>The other type of bookmarks are ones that you place. On the top of Event, dog, and kennel pages, there is a simple form for you to add in a bookmark. You can name your bookmark there to help you remember what the bookmark is for if you wish. <br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold">Fame Points & Skills</span></span><br> Skills give you benefits to the game. <br><span style="font-weight:bold">Handling skill</span> is the only skill available to all players as it's important in events or when competing. All other skills are for sponsor accounts.<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Training skill </span>gives you a bonus when training dogs, to training levels and stats.<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Business skill</span> allows you to make quite a bit of money and have larger cash prizes for events. <br><span style="font-weight:bold">Breeding skill</span> gives a bonus to puppies born on the account.<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">How do you raise skills?</span> You can currently have 200 points spent in skills, if you are a sponsor. First of all you have to get some fame. Fame can be obtained by competing in events or hosting them (sponsor). The better your dog does or the more people who enter your event, the more fame points you receive. <br><br>You can use these fame points to add in to skills, by clicking on My Skills under the management tab and inserting the number in the skill you wish to raise. To refund skill points, you can use a negative number in that field. <br> <br>You can also use fame points to raise stats on your dogs under the My Skills link.<br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold">Contracts</span></span><br>Contracts allow you to loan dogs for the purpose of breeding, training, or what ever you wish to other players with some protection. By using a contract on your dog and leasing it to another player, it provides protection from the dog being sold, bids accepted, and eventing or breeding, depending on what options you select to allow the other player borrowing the dog to do. The details on the contract page should help walk you through and learn more about them, check it out! <br><span style="font-style:italic"><span style="color:#BF4000">If you accept a contract for a service, such as breeding or training, be aware that you must fulfill that contract as agreed or you will need to refund part or all of the money. </span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold">Top Kennels & K9s</span></span><br>There are a few areas listed in the top k9s. The first is the record breaking score for an event type. Dogs who hold the record will be listed here, and the handler at the time of the competition.<br>The next type is the top scores, they are always updated and pull up the top 10 scoring dogs in events. Scores are awarded to dogs on how well the dog did against how many dogs in those events.<br> Top kennels are based on fame. The kennels with the most fame are listed up top! <br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold">Specialty Kennel types</span></span><br>This is a sponsor only privilege. Sponsors may choose how they wish to specialize their kennel to gain additional benefits and abilities. To choose your kennel type, visit the management tab and if you have not chosen a kennel type, you will have a button to do so. You will have 3 changes allow on your sponsor, but once they changes are gone, you will not get them back unless you upgrade again. You may only choose one type of kennel type at a time. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Boarding Kennels</span><br> Boarding kennels are kennels that have a specialized kennel for guest pups. <br> While a pup is at a boarding kennel, it can not be trained, but it will likely be groomed and checked on. You may visit your own boarding kennel by clicking the Boarding Kennel button in the top panel. Once you visit your boarding kennel, you will find a list of pups at your kennel and another button that allows you to check on all the pups.The owner of the pup is charged by the day, and auto charged when ever the kennel owner checks on the pup. By checking the pups at your boarding kennel you will receive your updated boarding pay, and groom and play with all the dogs! To remove a dog from your boarding kennel, visit your boarding kennel and then you will see a button option to do so by the pup's mini view. <br> <br>The owner may retrieve its pup at any time, and the boarding kennel owner may send the pup home at anytime. <br><br>To retrieve your pup from a boarding kennel, visit your puppy and you will have a button to do so. You will pay all remaining bills at this time. While being boarded, a pup does not age, even if the boarding kennel owner takes turns. You may freely play and not worry about aging your pups in your boarding kennel. If you have a pup in a boarding kennel, you may take turns with out the pup in the boarding kennel aging. <br> Pups have a lot of fun at boarding kennels and can be groomed too. They will gain courage and adaptability, the amount depending on how long they are there. When a boarding kennel owner checks on the boarding kennel pups, this action takes place. They will not loose loyalty or any other stats. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Rescue Kennels</span><br> Rescue kennels are dedicated to healing and rescuing pups. <br> Rescue kennel owners have the ability to rescue pups that have been in a kennel that is inactive for a 6 months or more, and the pup has had little care. They may not rescue pups that are healthy and in an active kennel. To rescue a pup, if you're an owner of a rescue kennel, visit the pup's page. If it is available to be rescued, a button will appear that says <span style="font-weight:bold">rescue pup</span> on the dog's page. Click it to bring the dog in your special rescue kennel. <br><br> You get a special kennel area for your rescued pups Once you rescue a dog, you will be able to visit it at the rescue kennel, by clicking on Rescue Kennel button on the top tab by your name and kennel information. If you have a rescued pup, it will be in there. Pups in there will not age, nor can you train them. You may move a rescued pup to your own kennel however you will not receive the adoption benefits if you wish to put the pup up for adoption. <br><br>Rescued pups have the ability to be able to put up for adoption. Adoption fees are 250 playcash to the person whom adopts the pup, however the person who rescued the pup will receive 2500 playcash in vp donations by the game. You may also vet pups in your rescue kennel with no energy loss. <br> <br>Rescue Kennel owners are the Vets of VP, they may heal dogs and vaccinate any dogs at any time. To do this, they can visit any dog's page and click their vet button, from there there is options on things they can perform on the pup. The actions a vet can do usually costs the vet playcash. Rescue kennels have a special dedicated kennel for their rescued dogs. They may receive donations at this kennel, and becomes a good way to get pay for services rendered. To donate to a rescue kennel, visit their kennel. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Training Kennels</span><br> Training kennels are kennels that are specialized in the art of training dogs. <br> Training kennels receive a special training type called conditioning. Conditioning pups raises most stats more rapidly and easily. Conditioning a dog can be used at any time on any pup by a trainer. If your kennel is a specialized training kennel, this train option will appear on all dogs when you go to train them. <br> Training kennels may also train dogs above 100 in any stat. Any dogs in the training kennel's kennel will be able to be trained over 100 in all stats by simple training methods. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Breeding Kennels</span><br> Breeding Kennels are owned by players whom specialize in breeding dogs. <br> All breeding kennel bonuses only take place when a litter is born in the breeding kennel! When a litter is born in your kennel, they may receive the following bonuses:<br> # They may breed larger litters, up to 10 puppies in a litter.<br> # The puppies have higher odds of getting special colors unique to that of the breed.<br> # The stat cap at birth is raised, allowing pups to be born with higher stats than its breed limitations.<br> # Dogs are more likely to be born with higher stats than its parents. <br> Along with this, females are in heat all the time and can be bred at any time within the appropriate age range when they are located in a breeding kennel. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Prestige Kennels</span><br> Prestige kennels are those whom are dedicated to distinguishing the fine VP K9s. <br> Prestige kennels have the ability to create clubs that may focus on a certain type of dog. When you select your kennel to be a prestige kennel, your club will be automatically created. Click on the Prestige Kennel button on your main tab to manage and customize your club to how you wish. In these clubs, they approve the members that apply, and host club-only events for the members. In this management tab you will see options and links to accept members that applied to your club, or decline them, and manage your member list. <br> To create club only events, simply go to the events tab as you would create any event, click create event link, then you will see a new option to check, if its a club only event. Club events only allow dogs from that club to enter that event. <br> Prestige kennels may host up to eight events per real day, club or open events. <br> A pup may only be a member of one club at a time. If you wish to move your dog out of a club, visit the dog's page, from there will be a link, by the name of the club.
