So I had a novice approach me asking for reduced trainings saying they only had 15k and need 2 dogs done. I offered to do a skill/stat max for 3k! (no aggression max) for the 2 dogs. It took a few messages to explain the skills and all, but I eventually got the dogs done and returned. But now, this person keeps sending me contracts (without asking) for 3k for skill/stat maxes and I really was only planning to do the 2. I would like to make money, and my services aren't that expensive to begin with, but I'm not really comfortable saying that I won't train for them any more or demanding money I know they don't have. For now, I've informed them that I will be putting ALL full paying customers first and they're fine with that, but I plan to enforce a strict 5 dog reduced fee policy from now on. I really can't keep training for that much but I don't want to be overly rude. If you have any suggestions thanks, and thanks for reading.

    Haha, thanks I appreciate that. I might be more willing to help them out if they didn't talk in completely un-understandable text talk with no punctuation whatsoever. I figure I'll just keep doing paying customers since I always have 1 or 2. :)

    I've had something similar happen.<br>The person wanted me to rescue a gifty for them.<br>Considering how much a rare gifty can go for, that's what I was going to base the price around, but they couldn't afford it. I think they had less than 100k. Eventually I said I'd get them 1 for something like 20k, and then they wanted me to get a second one, and then they wanted me to get some for a friend, since her birthday was coming up. Being nice, and not really caring about giving up 3 gifties(assuming I could even get them), I said "Sure, send me the link." I then got a message that said something along the lines of "Hold on, we are making the list. There are like ten of them." :shock:<br>Luckily for me, the kennel became available before I ever got that list, and I was only able to get one of the requested gifties. <br><br>I'm now very careful with what I say, and I try to make it clear that 1 time deals, are 1 time.

    Yeah, I think that I'll let them know that I'm not their "bud" as they call me and I like the "make some money and then come back" idea. From now on I will be sure to set the guidelines in place so I don't go through this any more. I'm glad you're giftie situation worked out, that's funny with the whole list and all. :) Thanks guys!

    Off topic.. Sea Oats, your avatar made me actually laugh out loud<br><br>On topic.. I'd say the Erar was very nice, nicer than some would have been about training a couple dogs cheaply and nicer than many would have been after the first couple trainings. I'd say to set an end to it. Tell them you'll finish however many you have currently for that price, but that after, the price will be full price. Being nice doesn't mean you have to get walked all over.
