  I think Syunn is trying to say that today would have been her great grandfathers birthday, and her great grandmother was upset because she was missing him. And her moms mom wanted to tell her some bad news, which would upset her more, which made Syunn upset. Please correct me if Im wrong.

  Yes, that is correct. Sorry for the confusion, my brain stops working after ten. Hahaha. But, yeah. I'm lucky to actually live in the house I'm in, even though I can't stand it 95% of the time, because at least we're stable...
