I am REALLY sad...

Well it all started when i went over to my mom's house. See i just moved out and she is all "call me""when you coming over?" so yeah...Went to see her. I go over there and there are 3 baby skunks in the yard! :D They were SOOO Adorable!!!! They were just in the yard and we had to keep the dogs in.<br><br>The next night we were out side and in the next door neighbors back yard(actually a big old cow ranch) we heard 4 gun shots....<br><br><br><br>Well you can guess what happend. Momma and the three babies were killed. It was sad. :cry:

    Its sad, but skunks can harbor disease (such as rabies) so its not exactly a good thing to have them in your yard. Not to mention, you don't want to get sprayed.

    My grandmother gets all kinds of animals living in and behind her yard. It waa baby skunks one year. They were surprisingly nice, and though it was a totally bad idea, we did touch them(poked their nose and what not) since mama skunk was MIA.<br><br>It's sad. Even though they can carry diseases, skunks are quite friendly, and actually kept as pets by some people.
    I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through deviantART.

    Yea, I know a few people that have pet skunks =)<br><br>They had them taken to a vet at a young age and the vet was able to take out whatever sac holds the liquid stench or w/e it is. That way the skunk can't spray anything on anyone =)

    yesh. :cry: was very sad.especially since there is a GIANT feild and woods where they lived but because they went in neighbor's yard they shot them
