If you read my post in GD, you'd know that I got my nook as an early birthday gift on the 8th. Not only did my mother get the wrong warranty [the appropriate warranty would've been the one that covers accidental damage from handling, even though I'm extremely careful with my nook], but I don't have a case for my $250 dollar device, I've been keeping it in it's padded box it came in. Best Buy has really expensive cases, and I don't want to go to Best Buy for them, because I'm not going to pay 20+ dollars for an ugly case that I didn't want to begin with.

The only place with a Barnes and Noble that is close enough to my house [about 15 minutes] is in this really busy part of town. This is the only B&N within a 20 minute time radius near my house, because they appear to like Borders and Books a Million here, not overpriced bookstores such as B&N. I would like to order a slip case from Amazon, if my mom would ever get off the phone and actually pay attention. I'm over here like "Hey! Hey! Mom, I need a case for this." every day. She doesn't pay a lick of attention. Plus, B&N is the only place that sells the book light Cristin told me to get [a Mighty Brite]- Books a Million had it, only for about 3 dollars more, and I'm not going to pay that.

So I have about $60 cash on me, and my mom owes me $60 more, so that's money I can use to protect my nook, so that it doesn't get hurt.

She's taking me to Integrative Therapy tomorrow. It's not for me, but for my brother.. So, I get to go tomorrow. -_-

I'd like to keep my nook for years to come.

/endrant.
Thanks for reading o.o;
