The horses are a good start.
I'm assuming you'd like critique..?
If not-just skip this next part.

For the first horse, you wouldn't really see much of the far jaw bone, even with the angle you're trying to get.
The face could be longer, it kind of looks a bit smushed up from it being so short, not too bad, but would probably look better if you elongated the face a bit.
I think it changed perspective a bit through out. at the mouth you're almost at a straight on side view, then you change it into a 3/4 view looking from the back, which is just a tad confusing when I look at it, coz I"m not sure what angle it's suppose to be at..
And-Mustang is actually right, to an extent. Most Arabians do have thinner necks, but towards the bottom they do get larger in order to attach into the chest without it being extremely stuck out.
I do like the mane though, it looks nice.

For the second horse picture (sorry, can't help with anything on the birds since I'm not one for being around them or drawing them)
I like the hind end and the closest back leg, the rest of the legs don't really tie in with the body too well though..Especially the closest front, since it looks like it just comes right out of the front of the chest..
The neck is good, I like how it ties into where the head is and goes smoothly into the back.
The head..kinda just looks like a bit of an oval.. I'm not really sure how to explain to fix that, but I would look at some reference pictures and see where everything fits in at. You probably wouldn't be able to see the horse's left eye very much..you may be able to see the eyebrow crest, but not the actual eye..You also don't really have a jaw on it..

But overall, I would say look at lots and lots of reference pictures and horse anatomy. It's a huge help.
