Kennywood! :D

Okay, I'm going to Kennywood with my best friend on Thursday and I'm sooo excited! I know they're a looot of Ohioans on VP, and I was wondering if anyone has ever been there? If so... On a scale of one to ten how funn is it? (: Are there A LOT of rides or not so much or whatt? Are the rides scary in your opinion? Should I be excited or is it not that great? Thanks! -Kaley[:

I have been there, although I do not live there. It's super fun. Not many rollercoasters but there is a few. A lot of fun rides though. If you park atop the hill overlooking the park, you ride a giant chairlift down to the park. Amazingly fin!!!

;-; see, this is why I wish I was going on thursday..then I could go with Brent and meet you! D; I'm going tomorrow.

I have to manage to squeeze in with my dad since Brent has a foster child meeting to go to. $:\$ But yeah.

We already got our reduced tickets at Giant Eagle and will be on our way tomorrow

I think it's about a 7.5-8.5 on a scale...but that's only because I find horseback to be the 9-10s. XD I think there's a pretty decent amount of rides...they're actually opening a new ride tomorrow.

so you'll be able to ride that, haha. So, that should be the two new rides open.

I prefer the Exterminator, Noah's Ark and Phantom's Revenge (aka Steel Phantom for the older peoples. XD ), but there are a lot of other cool rides.

I don't think many of the rides are scary..but I always get scared on the first part of Noah's Ark. XD It's pretty much just a walk through the Ark with all the "animals" and such, but I'm not one for elevators. ;-; I would definitely be excited! It's a great park, and the Dippin' Dots are my favourites.

That's normally all I eat there, and my drinks are from the fountains so that I have the most money to spend on the Dippin' Dots.

I mean, Cedar Point and parks like that probably have more rides, but I like Kennywood.

I think it rivals with the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium for my favourite places to go around here, haha. I just normally prefer animals to metal. XD But definitely be excited, I'm excited even though my friend ditched me last minute and Brent couldn't make it because the foster child meeting is mandatory or something. $:\$ Which sucks, because Tonna knows he would have loved to go with me.

I am happy about that though..'coz that's definitely what I'd be looking forward to.

And the fact that he likes all the rides I like to ride too, and dislikes the ones I dislike. XD lmao But-if I was in Ohio, I probably wouldn't ever make it to Kennywood. XD It's just so much closer where I live and I wouldn't drive 1.5-2.5 hours just for a few hours at the park, haha. Sorry for the novel! XD I got a bit carried away. lmao

Oh...hope you have a partner..otherwise-you'll have to ride with random people on some of the rides. XD It's very awkward...I got some lady this one time, and she kept talking the whole. entire. ride. ;-; I was so close to just being like..shut up. lmao! But yeah.

The chairlift is fun too, I prefer my escalators though, haha. And-no long ride for me when I go (minus tomorrow since we have to go pick my brother's friend up 45 minutes back west first) I live about a half hour from it. XD So glad..I am not up for another long car-ride. ;-; 6 hours today home from NJ was quite enough XD

I've actually never heard of Kennywood. Is it up in the north part of Ohio? Because I'm from the southwest part of Ohio...I'm from the Milford/Loveland area. Hahaha xD

@Femalevamp - Lucky! It's like 2 hours away for me. :P @Sunneh- Actually it's in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm near Akron, which is more up north near Erie if you didn't know. xD

Nope never heard of it before. I guess its far from Lancaster xDD -doesnt know the distance from Pittsburgh to Lancaster or vise versa xD -

Shames-Actually, I don't think it's too far. I passed Lancaster on my way to New Jersey and, well-with my dad driving lmao-it was around an hour away.. It's not really a water park, there's just things where you're in a boat for the coaster and there's water under you-which in turn splashes you when you go down the hills.

And one with waterfalls. So Kennywood really isn't much of a water park..I wouldn't even say 1/4. Sandcastle is in Pittsburgh, which is a water park; if that's the one you're thinking about. XD There's also Idlewild somewhere south/something of Pittsburgh, which is pretty much a half and half park, coasters and water rides. But yeah...uhh, I suggest you go to the Sky Rocket line as soon as you enter the park. XD That's what we did..got to ride it twice.

It's extremely smooth..like, like a baby's bottom. lmfao! I think it's a bit too short though. $:\$ Phantom's Revenge and Noah's Ark are still my favourites though..I dragged my dad into Noah's Ark twice with me. XD The second time the (this is a group of three people) guy backed into me. ;-; So I was stuck in a corner trying not to accidentally touch parts of him, XD And then the two chicas kept screaming and my dad and I ended up having to go in front of them because they were so scared, lol. That's my favourite part about Noah's Ark, other peoples' reactions. XD But anywho..no more of my blabbering on and on. XD I hope you have a good time on Thursday too.

OMG! I had SO much fun!! I rode the Phantom's Revenge. BEST. FREAKING. RIDE. EVERRR!!! Wow, that was a rushh. xD I hated the Thunderbolt, and I sorta kinda liked the racers. I loved the Jackrabbit. OMG! I rode the Arrow 360. HOLY. CRAP. That's sooo freaking scary. xD I'm a chicken. When we were going up the first hill on the Phantom's Revenge, Caroline (my best friendd) was like "Just a warning, but we have like 5 seconds till we drop!" I was like "Ahhh! Caroline I hate you! Just kidding but I really dislike you, now!!!" xD She's been there 3 times before. But, yeah. I loved the whole expirience!! Hmm, what else did we ride...The swings, fun. Went twice in a row.

Umm, The Exterminator.

The bestt.

Umm, THE PITTSBUGRGH PLUNGEE! Wow, we went 4 times in a row and there was like no line.

The first time we went in the very front row and barely got wet (and I mean just a couple drops of water.) and the other 3 times we went in the very back row and we were DRENCHED for the rest of the day. Haha. Not fun. Very. Very. Cold. >.> Ooh! I got a hair wrap and it's orange yellow purple and green and it's really annoying. It's pretty but I hate it. It hurts.

I also got this ankle bracelet and it's purple orange green and blue (as you can see I like purple and orange and green and blue and yellow. :P) and apperently when it falls off it's supposed to grant you a long life. I don't believe in that kinda stuff, but I just like doing it for the fun of it. xD Butt, yeahh! That was pretty much our day! Had SO much fun. Sorry for such a long paragraph. WOW.

I'm glad you had a great time!

I don't like the Thunderbolt either. XD It's very rough and ends up being painful. $:\$ Me and my dad barely fit in the Racers. XD I think my dad needs to shrink a bit before I go to Kennywood with him as my ride partner again. ;-; No offense. lmao I like the Jackrabbit too.

I didn't get to ride it this time though, I didn't feel like standing in the line, haha. Phantom's Revenge is great..I still wish they would have kept the loop in it.

Aero 360 is amazing.

My dad made me sit in the outside row and it was much more thrilling/better than where I usually sit in the insides. XD Don't do the Exterminator with sunburn on your back. o-o It's very painful..I made that mistake on tuesday. XD I didn't even go near the water rides. XD I like the Raging Rapids (you should have did that instead of the pittsburgh plunge lol) but it just wasn't hot enough for me to want to get cooled down and stay soaked the whole time. XD I never would be able to deal with a hair wrap...a chunk of my hair would be missing. XD I'm really glad you had so much fun!
