In Loving Memory of Cheyenne

*I haven't even written anything yet and already I'm crying... Lol. <br>I'm writing this for my dog who passed away a few years back and <br>I've never gotten over. Cheyenne (pronounced Shy-enne) was 3/4s wolf, 1/4 German Shepherd. <br>Despite the two breeds, she was the calmest, gentlest, kindest dog in the entire world. <br>Not once did she bite anyone, or growl or bark. She was the best dog I could ever ask for and<br>nothing can replace her because she was my world. She helped me<br>through so many rough times and when she was going through some health <br>problems I wasn't there for her. (I had moved out of my parents place and with my friend) <br>Anyways, I never really got to say a proper goodbye to her and <br>so I'm making an attempt at some poetry, or whatever this is.*<br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="font-weight:bold">I Miss You</span></span><br><br>You are my sunshine,<br>The light that shines through the dark clouds,<br>The light that brightens my day,<br>And makes life worth living.<br><br>Your beautiful brown eyes filled with innocence,<br>Caring,<br>And love,<br>Not once did they ever lie to me.<br><br>I miss you.<br><br>The way you leapt at the door when I came home,<br>Full of excitement,<br>Making me smile and laugh,<br>Making all my worries go away.<br><br>How you would lay under my chair at the table,<br>Grabbing at the pieces of food that fell, *I was always the messiest eater =P*<br>Expecting the ones I snuck from my plate,<br>How I miss the simple things.<br><br>I miss you.<br><br>The way you curled at the corner of my bed,<br>Your nose carefully tucked under your tail,<br>How you stretched during the night,<br>Waking up to find I only had a quarter of the bed.<br><br>The sound of your nails clicking along the floor,<br>The sound of your bark at every animal outside,<br>Chasing the bird as he flies just out of reach,<br>The house feels empty without them.<br><br>I miss you.<br><br>I miss how you would be there,<br>While I read,<br>While I laughed,<br>While I cried.<br><br>I miss you Cheyenne,<br>You were my world,<br>My universe,<br>My soul.<br><br>I'm sorry.<br><br>I should have been with you,<br>When you were alone,<br>When you were scared,<br>When you were sad.<br><br>I know you are happy,<br>With your brother Tundra,<br>Harley,<br>And the bird Gerry.<br><br>Life will never be the same,<br>You took a part of my heart with you,<br>I can never get it back,<br>Until the day I see you again.<br><br>Love you.<br><br><img src="http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/30dfd85dc6f09038ae7cac30109de544.gif"; alt="http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/30dfd85dc6f09038ae7cac30109de544.gif"; class="bb-image" /><br><br>Sorry for the low quality pictures...
