At the soccer game, there was a lady selling baby dumbo rats and guinnea pigs. I fell in love with a hooded dumbo baby she had. My brother's been wanting a rat for himself for awhile, and he found a beautiful berkshire baby. Both boys.
We met the mom and dad, no health concerns/temperment issues.
The lady asked us several questions, we had to sign tons of papers..
Oreo and Ashe now reside in my brother's room, with the occasional visit from Tar. Bleach enjoys his alone time. : ]

Oreo is very submissive to tar. He should be, since he's 6 weeks and Tar's 6 months. Tar and oreo get along wonderfully. Ashe, on the other hand, will not submit to tar. Tar could crush Ashe if he wanted to, but this little rat has to be dominant. It doesn't make sense to me. They don't hurt eachother, they get along most of the time... but whenever they get in a little toussle, Ashe always seems to win. xD It's quite funny.
(Also, I took Tar to the vet. The scabs are protein allergies, not the result of a fight. I'm getting Tar neutered soon so in the future I can get a female.)
