birthday present?!

okay, my boyfriend michaels birthday is july first and I've been trying to think of cool stuff that he would like that doesn't cost a ton of money. I've got him some expensive cologne and a video game that he asked for but idk what else. we've been dating three months today<3 and we are pretty serious so I don't want to give him a bunch of crappy presents when I know he is planning something big for my birthday in a few months. - sigh - help me! suggestions?! he loves sports (mainly football...Miami dolphins) loves video games (he's a halo fanatic) he's rather immature sometimes (despite being almost 19) so he could handle funny/silly gag gifts Secretttt

As a gamer(360 user), probably the best thing you can get for a Halo fanatic is the upcoming Halo Reach game. It's not going to be out until later this year, but you could go down to the game store to preorder and pay for it. After that, I think all you have to do is give him the receipt/preorder ticket so he can pick it up when it comes out. If he doesn't have it already, I also suggest the Halo Legends DVD. I purchased it and LOVE it. I think any big Halo fan would.

I was thinking of getting a little gift box (before I see my boyfriend on Saturday) and doing something similar to that (putting everything I like about him in the box). xD Google is your friend. 8D

well I would love to do that but I can't afford another video game. considering I've already spent 100+ on what I have for him already. I wish I could but my money is really low so I need less expensive things

Ah! So you want something on a budget? Well, on this one online variety show I watch(about a girl vs. a guy), they had to come up with a Christmas present for $15. The girl host got a cheap plastic box and filled it with things they had done for past episodes. One time they had to eat peppers, so she put peppers in. Another time they had to wear costumes, so she put an eye patch in(since the male host had dressed up as a pirate). One time they had a poker challenge, so the host put a pack of cards in the box. You get the idea. The male host seemed extremely touched, and remembered all the things they did. You could do something like that for all the memories you've made with him. (I think this is kind of like what Avla suggested) It's really not that hard. Do you ever stop and think about a time you had with your BF, and all you can do is smile? Well, just think about what made that moment special. Ex: Let's say one time you were trying to impress him, but your shoes were untied so you tripped and he laughed. You could put shoe laces in the box.

wow buffy.. at christmas time, if we have a new couple in the family.. my granmother gets together with my dad and they will buy a gag gift.. the candy underwear popped up for my brother and my sister in law xD epic idea buffy!

Maybe it's just us, but my boyfriend and I have been dating for two and a half years and we just don't spend that kind of money on each other.. I mean, if you've already spent over $100 on him, would that not be enough? Stetson would be upset with me for spending even that on him. I personally like being able to simply spend time with him, and that'd be enough. I like the cute little box ideas too. I'm sure he doesn't really care how much money you've spent on him, and sometimes the inexpensive, dumb 'crappy' gifts as you put it are the best ones. Stetson is in the Navy and since he left for basic I've been taking pictures of various things on disposable cameras so I couldn't tell you what all is on them, and I plan to give him the cameras in the future for him to develop. I know you don't have time before his birthday to do that but that's an idea for future holidays/birthdays.

plus we get to spend three days together (were both super excited about that lol) anybody have any other suggestions for cute little cheap things I could throw in there?

U.S. release date it September 14th. I'm already planning on going to midnight release.
