Banned. Ugh. Just adds to my great day, right? Pfft

Why the hell was I banned? >.> <.< I didn't even do anything. Apparently I was masking swearing, but I'm not sure where. I'd love to know. Ugh First I was surrounded with people, which I'm not comfortable with. Save, it was family, but the fact remains that I don't like large groups of people. I ended up fleeing to the basement.

It was also very hot, which I don't deal well with. I'll be watching my gramma that's losing her mind for about a week, as well as my aunt's house. I'm not sure I'm comfortable doing this..I'm just, ugh. I came back to my dad's house and texted Alajia, she ended up getting an attitude with me, hollerin' about how why am I texting her if I hate her. :roll: I never said I hated her, I said I didn't like her while she was continually picking on me about every little thing she could find the day after I slept over because of the hay me and Drew were suppose to bail in the morning (we finished it at night). So it's whatever. I mean, I tried to be nice and work out whatever issue she had with me, but her attitude pushed me too far over the edge. So it's whatever, I'm not about to try anymore. Oh, and apparently Brent (guy I like that's the foster son for my barn owner's sister) hates me. A lot. I'd love to know where this came from. He's a big boy, he can tell me himself if he hates me so much. I'm kind of wondering how though, since he flirted with me the whole time we were at the zoo. *shrugs* Whatever. So..yeah, I think I've had a rather bad day, which I wasn't hoping for, since this is suppose to be a day in my vacation where I'm away from my mother and don't have to be stressed. So much for that. *sigh* Yeah, might be a petty rant, but I can atleast vent and try to lower my stress level.

Are you banned, or suspended(do they do suspensions on VP?)? I'd suggest putting a ticket in at orbis worlds to get help/info on exactly what you did wrong. I'm sorry you're having a bad day. I don't like big crowds either, so I generally refuse to go places where I know they'll be(even if it's just a lot of family members/friends). You can miss out of things, and sometime insult people by not going, but it's better than stressing out the whole day/time you're there. My grandfather is loosing his mind too. It's really awkward to be around people like that, but they definitely appreciate it.Spending a week with him though...I don't know if I could do that either, so I can see why you're concerned. As for problems with the boy and girl, I'd wait until you calm down, and then try to get the problems sorted out and clarified. If they push your buttons, it would probably be better to send text/email messages unless you can really prevent yourself from snapping back at them. Anyways, I hope everything gets fix, and your able to relax for awhile. Life can be so stressful at times.

I'm pretty sure it's another 24 hour ban. ;-; So not permanent, but not my cup of tea either. And yeah, I mean, I love my gramma, but it's awkward and a struggle just one day, let alone a whole week..and on top of having her rat (dog) to take care of, and then go over to my other aunts to take care of Blue and her rat (dog, again. lol) for half a week, hopefully. I'd love to take care of the dogs, gives me time for 1 on 1 training with them.

And I was texting Alajia (female), I know I can keep myself from snapping back at both of them (unless they hit me, then there's issues) because I did on tuesday when I was over there. At one point-I'm glad that I have exceptional control over myself (you'd realize how I meant that if you saw me get to a certain point in anger), but then again-I probably could have hit her and got away with it..I mean, I'd rather not, but I think that if she realized that I would hit her, she'd stop acting like a little spoiled brat. Just about everything she does irks me. She hates spending time with her horse out in the barn. *rolls eyes* You have a barn full of horses that you don't have to pay for, and the most you can do is slide on a headstall and brush your mare down and put her back in her stall, only because your mother made you? You don't deserve to ride that horse if you don't even want to spend time with it, nor want to ride it other than at shows. She was complaining about how Mendi (barn owner/her mother) was planning to sell Poco. She went on and on about how he's her horse and blah blah blah. She doesn't even give him a rub on the face when she walks by him. The first thing I do when I go up to the barn is go and spend 5-10 minutes with Dude (gelding I ride), if not more. I don't need to ride him every time I go up to the barn. I plan on seeing him every time I go up there though. It just irks me that she complains about her selling the horse when she doesn't even do more than look at it unless she's told to. *rolls eyes* But yeah...thanks, and it can be. ;-;

Ops are required to inform you why you were banned, and I believe to explain it if their reasons are unclear. If you don't know what exactly got you banned, how can you avoid it occurring in the future?

yeah, so I plan on asking Hawk when I get back on...which won't be all tomorrow when I'm not allowed out of the house either..which I just realized. *sigh* The only reason I could think of would be hell and "-vulgar word of choice-"..which I've done before and wasn't banned, so I'm curious.

Well, even the ops use some milder swears, the line can be pretty fuzzy at times. If you use <a href="http://www.wikkedwire.com/cgi-bin/irc.cgi"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://www.wikkedwire.com/cgi-bin/irc.cgi</a>; to log into the network and just got to the [edit by staff] Posting other chats is not allowed here, please re read the rules], you can send a PC to Alabama or Hawk by using "/msg Alabama Hello" or something. Perhaps you could log into the #VHR channel and try to ask an op about it there? Being banned from VP chat doesn't ban you from the whole network.

I just saw them. lol And yeah...I kinda thought they were suppose to send them to you in email form...to your email? o.O Bama, Hawk PM'd me a bit ago..so I figure there's no need to bother you with it. it was the "-vulgar word of choice-" I'm still curious as to how vulgar was automatically taken as masked swearing/cussing though, which I did ask Hawk about. Since it can mean multiple other things. ;-;

I don't see why this phrasing is wrong. I understand that someone might take it as masked cussing/swearing. But-vulgar does not always mean certain words that would be inappropriate for VP. Vulgar can mean multiple different words, and I wasn't using it to mask cuss words in the first place. Words such as: crude, lewd, indecent, ignorant, rude, etc etc. I'm assuming that using -insert synonyms of "vulgar" here- would have been better and not taken offensively? The only reason I use (and have used) that phrasing is because I don't want to go on and on trying to list all the words I just listed above. I didn't mask anything with *** or #%! , which is the reason I'm frustrated with this.

Yes, you would have been better to have said what you meant, because saying "insert vulgar word" to us means using curse words, which isn't allowed.

I've seen kids younger than 8 using curse words that they picked up from their peers/parents. I'm pretty sure that 95% of the kids I come into contact with do. Including words -I- don't even say, and I tend to have a mouth like a sailor, especially when I'm angry. But, I mean, I understand the precaution against younger kids for younger kids. But, I mean, the youngest I've seen -on the forums- was 10. And that generation tends to get pretty mouthy.

I haven't seen you on here in forever o.o /hijack. But. I think -some- masked swears are okay. There's a difference, though, between blatenly saying a word that you mean to be a swear, and just replacing a swear with a word that you were taught to replace it with.

i agree. we are alowed to say lmao and lmfao, which is masking bad words and we can say arse, which is a very obvious mask.

we're allowed to say ass...so arse doesn't really matter..but exactly. Why are we allowed to say lmfao if we can't use something that can, or can't, mean something such as a cuss word. *sigh*
