My New Baby Artemis! Story and Pic Heavy

So i spent the night with one of my very <br>best friends. Were both animal people<br>and she had to take a picture of her lamb <br>to the sale barn because they donated to the sale.<br>After we delivered the picture she and i went into the<br>back to see what they were selling... we saw this little<br>red brahman bull who was a day old! The people were<br>poping him with hotshots and pulling on his ears so my <br>friend decided she would get him and bottle raise him.<br>She got him for 11 DOLLARS! I was so jelous. Brahmans<br>are my FAVORITE breed! So we go to get him some colostrom <br>and milk from the store and when she paid for him the<br>people asked if we wanted the other 2 calves... the ten dollar old <br>*i instantly agreed to take her* and a thirtyfive dollar calf.<br>So all i know is i have a black hefer who weighed 135 lbs.<br>i dont know breed or whats wrong with her. <br>We went back to get the trailer and showed up to get out calves.<br>I GOT A GEORGEOUS MONTH OLD BLACK BRAHMAN HEFER<br>TO BOTTLEFEED and ALL Thats wrong with her is a naval infection.<br>That is easily fixed!     <br><br>I know <3 and okay lol i have absolutely NO plans for tomorrow.. shocker i know lol xD Joey just got off work and came to get his stuff.. ive spent EVERY day since saturday with him... hah hey 0.0 get on yahoo. i gotta tell you sumthin funny xD

    <br><br>where her navel cord came off got infected. Other than that she is PERFECTLY fine. We just gotta drain it.

    Brahmas are so gorgeous. I don't know if they are my favorite, but they are definitely in my top 3. We had a white brahma bull for a short time when I was a kid.<br><br>Artemis is gorgeous. Look at those eyelashes~ <3

    70k chickens *shudders<br>chicken are my greatest fear i recently went to the aviary (by force) and i cried when i was there. My one friend was like "Celia, your 15 and your scared of birds still?"

    <br><br>I believe we raise leghorns too. <br>Delia raised laying hens...<br>my family raises pullets which means<br>that we raise em from babies to adults

    Why are you afraid of chickens, Celia? xD<br>They are really gentle (especially hens) and really smart!<br>I can understand being afraid of roosters, they chase you! But who wouldn't want to play tag with a rooster?! 8D<br><br>My rooster is sweet with me, but he started chasing my 4 year old cousin around and he beats up my grandmas dog! XD
