He probably has more than just Cori and GSD, so the dad/mom could have only been slightly larger than one another. It's possible though.
I've seen a lab/chi. mix.

EDIT: And remember sometimes, shelters get breeds mixed up. ;D
I know, I know. xD I've seen Dane/Chi, soyeah.

And believe me, I know about how shelters get mixed up. The local one was so desperate, they let ME run around with a marker and label things.

I just thought it was funny. And rather cute.
I doubt the shelter mixed it up, look at him! =D
He's got the corgi body and the german face/head/colors.
OMG I love it.

I didn't say it was messed up. :P

But, I know some shelters think that just because a dog has Black & Tan markings that it has Rottie in it when it's just a min pin. xD

There are several breeds who have the same type of shape as the GSD and coloring to. :P
haha oh man that is cute. Who would have ever thought?

Now just think a Great Dane/ Chuahua

Would never breed them, or agree to the breeding but that would be a funny mix.
I agree with Avla. Sometimes shelters just put what they think, which leaves me going "That looks nothing like a -insert breed-" half the time.

However, this little guy definitely looks like what they think he is, and it's more than possible. I've seen some pretty weird crosses. For dogs if there is a will, they will find a way. lol.
I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through deviantART.
It's possible that it's a shepherd with dwarfism. I know it's a bit more common in the breed. We had a GSD/Bassett Hound at my shelter but I'm convinced that he was just a GSD with dwarfism. A lot of people add the corgi/bassett label for dogs that are short and long and don't take into consideration that it could be health related.

Cute nonetheless. I hope he gets a good home.
