Pokemon games

Any suggestions on Pokemon DS games? I have 0 and I really want one lol. I know there's pearl, diamond, etc. etc. etc. @_@<;br><br>Just some things I'm looking for in the game:<br>catch, train, battle pokemon (kinda like the ancient Pokemon red, blue and yellow for the GBC?)<br>I love the original, 150 pokemon (though I'm TRYING -really, I'm trying- to get used to all these new ones *roll eyes* I know I'm a pokemon caveman from the 1990's)<br>CHEAP would be nice... But I'll take the best one out there :)<br><br>Thanks for your help!

    <span style="color:darkred">Yay for pokemon fans. <3<br><br>I have diamond for ds. and I love it. xD<br>It has the basic 150, and then after you've gone and 'completed' the game, you can get the national dex and get up to 490-something. But most you've gotta trade and such.<br>And you catch, train and battle pokemon too!<br>I remember paying $50ish AUD for mine, and that was at least a year ago. So Im not sure about the price of it now, and what the currency whatsit is. =]<br>I hope you get one! :P </span>

    I'd suggest either of the newest ones (Heart Gold or Soul Silver) or Platinum from the last set. Heart Gold and Soul Silver are remakes of the Gold, Silver and Crystal games(the generation after red, blue and yellow). You should be able to obtain all generations of pokemon after you get the national dex from beating the game, but some of them will have to be obtained through trading.<br><br><br>I suggest checking out this website for more info on all of the pokemon games.     If you like the originals get Platinum.<br>Im diamond and pearl u have to beat<br>the game before you can get any <br>of the originals... but in platinum you<br>can catch the originals from the start

    <-- biggest pokemon nerd ever i have the theme song on my ipod xD<br>i have diamond. you have to get the national pokedex if you wanna really start catching originals. it take time i've play or about 130hours in the past few months. xD
