Improvement (Follwoing Chibi's Lead-!)

Art definitely takes time. There is no way, trick, or method that will improve you over night. It's perfectly fine to be unhappy with your art, but don't give up! With practice it will slowly improve, and you'll hopefully reach a day when you can sit back and go "Wow, I've come a long way."<br><br> <span style="font-weight:bold">Art for VP</span><br> Here are 2 paintings of my first giftie on VP. One from 2006 when I was LeopardKitty(can't remember log in info), and another from about 2 months ago. The hold ones make me lol more that the above paintings. I've definitely come a long way since then. Animals came easy to me(well, I'm just more confident with them), and were my first subjects, but this was harder. The last one might be late 2009, or early 2010. I have no recent examples....no time to draw anymore...D:<br> <a href="http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r26/PrinceSushi/VP Art Thread/Improvement2.png&quot; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Click</a><br><br> 4 years is good progress, but it probably would have been faster if I agreed with art classes. If you can stand them, art classes can easily shave some time off.

    I love all of your work =D<br><br>im in art at my high school and absolutely LOVE it. Im going into th next level of art class next year. I bet you would love being in art =)
    <br> I've looked into art classes, questioned students and what not, but most of them are way too structured for me. If I had chosen art as a profession I would suck it up and go, but art is a stress reliever for me. It would be like someone who cooks to relieve stress going to a culinary class. Suddenly they are telling you how to do it, and your being graded! Probably the only classes I would ever consider would be to learn how to use oil paints, or a class on human anatomy/life study.<br><br>
