Seperate Lists

I think this may have been suggested in the past and was shot down. But it's something that's been bugging me so I want to bring it up anyways. I feel that the drop down list of dog breeds in the Marketplace is getting to long. To fix this I suggest chopping the list up abit. For example, giving the player created breeds and mythical/fantastical/halloween breeds their own list. And maybe even a separate list for wild no-domestic real-life canine species. (foxes, jackals, raccoon dogs, etc...) I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with theses "unreal" breeds, I own several myself. I just think that it would make searching easier. That long list can take a while to slog through. I've been asked alot by players just begining what these fantastical breeds are. And I've noticed on the breed help pages that there is often alot of confusion and questions about the unreal breeds. I know it will be alot of work reformating, but I think it will really increase player clarity and conviencence. Thanks for listening, I hope this will change someday. -LeoTaurus

I think splitting the list would make it more confusing or harder to find things. If you don't already know where the breeds belong, it could take longer. Having the list in alphabetical order in one list works fine in my opinion. And want to know what the fantasy breeds are? Just look them up. Its not terribly hard to do in the least.

Look them up how? The help files don't always say what breeds are fantastical or created. I understand that people could just search the breeds in a search engine. But that takes an incredibly long time for me, because I am still on a dial-up connection. There is no high speed in my area.

I mean to actually look them up like on google or yahoo. And lots of the fantasy breeds are obvious. I dont think the game needs to hold your hand so much. -- yeah, dialup is terrible. I agree with you there xD. I used to have it myself and I couldnt use the marketplace without it taking ages.

Pages on Google and Yahoo take a good 10-15 minutes to load for me... And why do you keep phrasing this as it is just me? Like I said above, I've been asked many times by new players what breeds are the fantasy/ created breeds. And one can see by just going through the help pages that there are endless questions about theses new breeds. Apparently not everyone finds it as simple as you do. I'm trying to speak out on something I see effecting alot of people.

I'm not phrasing it as though I'm only talking to you. I was using 'you' as a default for a broad term. I didn't specifically mean you as a person. The only time I addressed you was when I was agreeing with how slow dialup is.

LOL Good idea. If you need to keep scrolling down the list for one breed, if you just press the list so it's highlighted and press the first letter of the breed it should come up.. if it doesn't press the down button until it shows up.
