They come in three colors Starfire Red®, Electric Green®, and Sunburst Orange®. They were originally used for detecting toxins in the water. Now they are for sale in regular pet stores. I WANT SOME SO BAD.<br><br>They only cost about 5$-6$ dollars and are allowed in all states exept California. xD

    I wouldn't buy them, but I'm a Californian that hopes to work with/for fish and game, so my opinion is obvious. lol.<br><br>If you get them, just be responsible with them. :wink:

    xD we had some Fish like that but instead they had like hearts and designs on them :P they had ones that said 'I love you' on them at the pet store.. ill see if I can dig up some picures of meh frishes

    <span style="font-size:92">I ALMOST bought some when I got my goldfish, but they need a special light to make them glow really well and stuff, and I didn't really have the money to get all that. They are awesome though. :D</span>

    <br><br> Glofish are genetically alter to always be that way. The fish that have hearts, designs, and words are actually tattooed fish, which is quite abusive to the fish. Most of the time the fish aren't put under any anesthetic while the dye is injected into them to form funky colors or shapes. You're free to purchase whatever you want, but I highly encourage you not to buy any tattooed fish as it supports the cruel practice of tattooing animals.

    <br><br>They weren't mine exactly mine, they were my moms.. I don't have a say in what she gets, since she payed for the tank and all the fish, unless I want to get yelled at.. I just think they are cool..<br><br><br>anyway, we have one of those big fish tank of different of fishes and the glow fish that chibi posted.. they are so tiny (because of the tank size) and they just light up the tank :D
