  Black Beauty doesn't really full that plot.. eets <br><br>And I still adore Spirit, stallion of the... something.. I've forgotten xD<br>It's a cartoon movie for children but I still cry everytime D;

  I agree! Sometimes it's even other animals! Gets very boring and it's not very realistic in my opinion. A lot of these ones seem to be more geared towards teens and children.<br><br> Some good horse movies that I would recommend would be Black Beauty(My fav horse movie), The Horse Whisperer, Hidalgo, Misty, and Thunderhead: Son of Flicka. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is also a good movie, but it's animated. I don't believe any of those films follow the plot you are talking about, even in the smallest sense, and I highly recommend them.<br><br>My recomendations:<br><span style="text-decoration:underline">Black Beauty</span> - In my opinion this is the best horse movie ever made. If it hadn't been for Old Yeller, this probably would have been my most watched movie as a kid.<br><span style="text-decoration:underline">The Horse Whisper</span> - Quite different than a lot of horse movies, and a little graphic in the beginning, but well worth it. <br><span style="text-decoration:underline">Hidalgo</span> - A great movie made not to long ago.<br><span style="text-decoration:underline">Misty</span> - Slightly like the whole "tame the wild horse" plot, but different. That part isn't the main focus of the movie in my opinion.<br><span style="text-decoration:underline">Thunderhead: Son of Flicka</span> : I loved it, but I've heard some people were disappointed. A little brutal towards the end. I dunno, I just love old movies from the 40's and 50's.<br><span style="text-decoration:underline">Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron</span> - Animated, but amazing! Great music, great plot.

  Black Beauty and Hidalgo will forever be some of my faverite horse movies! I also Really like dreamer for some reason even though it was pretty much like any other movie. I named My rescue filly after the Horse. Her name is Sonador but we call her Sonya for short.<br><br>The horse whisper was iffy for me from what i can remember but then again its been years since ive watched it.<br><br>Speaking of flicka did any one know there comeing out with Flicka 2? From what I herd Katie goes off to vet school and her dad had to sell the farm so flicka goes and lives over at katies Uncles ranch. Well the main girl character comes and lives with her dad after like never meeting him i guess and bonds with flicka. So my guess is that there probably going to make a Thunderhead movie to.

  Black Beauty That was my favorite movie ever.. well, and Homeward Bound xDD I was obsessed with that (what kid isnt obsessed with talking dogs?)<br><br>But, yeah, Black Beauty was probably one of my favorites. I was a major horse obsesser when I was young.<br><br>Dreamer that movie makes me cry every time I watch it xD<br><br><br>But, psh, what about My Little Pony? xDDD I was obsessed with that too at one point...<br><br><br>I see what you mean though, and I thought the same thing. My mom rented tons of them not too long ago, and the descriptions all sound the same with a different title pretty much. Still, I just like watching the horses if nothing else, lol.
