I am getting my mice, I was suppose to get them this weekend. Buttt, my cage and stuff won't be in the mail until tomorrow. D:<br>I am getting two females from petsmart (same place I got my Bama<3), and I already have names picked out, but I am not saying until I get them. XD<br><br>Does anyone else own mice?

    I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove mice~<br>It sucks that they have such short lives D: <br><br>Here are the mice I used to own. <br><a href="http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r26/PrinceSushi/Pets/Mice.png"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r26/PrinceSushi/Pets/Mice.png</a><br><br>Momo, Tiramisu, and Sushi(#2, 6, and 7) were my first ones. <br>Deer, Pineapple, and Voodoo(#3,4, and 5) were bought together after Tiramisu passed away. They were all silkies/satins. Voodoo and Deer had some very small black patches, but I don't believe it was enough defined enough to consider them tricolors.<br>Gizmo(#1) was my last mouse, bought after all the rest had passed away. Most likely rex or texel coat. Unfortunately she got cancer really bad when she got older. Vet said there was nothing I could do, but let her live out her life, and she went for longer than expected.<br><br>I'd love to have mice again, but I've decided not to get any new animals due to school.
    I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through deviantART.

    They are so pretty! I LOVE satin's! And the rex one is adorable! <br>May I ask where you go them?<br><br>All we have is regular broken colored ones. xD<br>These are the last animals I am allowed to have, unless my boyfriend lets me get a hen or two when we move for Kirby - other than that he said no more animals for at least a year (pshhh, yeah right XD).

    Satins from Petco and rex from Petsmart.<br>You could request that your local Petco orders fancy mice, but I've been told there is no way of knowing what they will send, and most of the time it's just broken colored mice.<br><br>The rex was just mixed in with Petsmart's fancy mice. It's all my Petsmart sells in the open(I believe feeders are kept in the back). They are normally pretty colors, and better looking than what our local Petco gets, but their coat texture is just standard. As soon as I saw her I was like "Whoa, no way!" I was definitely lucky to snatch up Gizmo.<br><br>If you're looking for a breeder, the AFRMA website should have some. I talked to a few breeders at one of their shows, and saw some of their mice, and they were gorgeous. However, a lot of breeders don't have websites, so you have to email them.

    All I have near me is a petsmart, but I had no idea they sold mice that pretty. lol. I went in about a week ago to get Ajax crickets and they only had 2 white and black females - maybe they will have restocked on the colors when I go in Tuesday.<br>I found a breeder that I really liked, but she doesn't ship and the ones that do ship ask $100+ for shipping - I don't even pay $50 for reptile shipping. So I said no lol.<br>I will have to check out that website.

    <br><br> I'd talk to Petsmart to see what they can get you. I know that when I was considering goldfish, they said they could order me any size and color. They seemed willing to please, but maybe that's just mine.<br><br> I'm surprised they want so much!<br> When I was looking at mice, they said shipping would be $50 at most, but that was a few years ago. Those mouseries no longer seem to be around.

    Mice mice mice mice... my cat likes them but I'm not a big fan. I like hamsters though.

    XD Don't all cats? lol.<br><br>I like hamsters, but thing is they aren't as docile -from what I know- as what mice and rats are, and I've never seen a trained hamster and they are more prone to bite from my experience. xD<br>I like the fact that rats and mice can learn tricks and love socialization.

    That's true. I don't really know what the point of having a -dumb- (like mentally dumb lol) rodent is. To hold them? Hah, at least you can teach mice and rats to do something!
