Fighting...

Okay, so I attend a school that is often home to fights. And no, I don't mean people yelling at each other, although..there is a lot of that. I'm talking about the fist fights.

I just wanted to rant about how ridiculous I think it is that people get in fights over how someone looks at them, or someone else talking about someone's friend, or someone else talking about someone behind their back.

It's just absurd. Honestly.

Just because someone looks at you funny, doesn't mean you go and punch them.. I could understand if they had like.. laser vision or something, because that would obviously hurt. But just looking at someone doesn't harm you in any way.

If someone talks about you or a friend, sure it's annoying and can be hurtful towards your emotions, but its nothing to go getting in a fight over.

I just don't understand these things..

If someone says something about me, I just ignore it. They obviously have nothing better to do with their lives than insult someone else.
And if someone looked at me funny.. well.. I'm sure I would notice it in the first place. How do you pick someone out of the crowd that's supposedly "mad-dogging" you?

Sighhhh...

  • I really can't agree with non-consensual physical violence at all.
It's ridiculous to think you have to punch someone because you're not mature enough to walk away or use words. They obviously wouldn't want people laying hands on them, so it's hypocritical in a sense for them to be harming others.
I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through deviantART.
  • BAHAHAH! Thats how it is downtown in the city I live in. You watch the news, and they ask these criminals their reason for shooting, and they'll give a stupid reason. OR, the cop'll say that it wasn't provoked violence.

  • That's how it is at my school. -_- Practically all the guys do it. Yet, after they beat the crap out of each other, they're friends. o.o It's so stupid!
  • Uhh....Now I feel bad. D:
I'm horrible when it comes to fighting.
If they don't push me completely over the edge, I'll ask them if they'd like me to beat everything out of them/fight with them..but if they push me over the edge..I don't make it a huge point to not hit them a few times or so to let 'em know that I mean what I'm saying and I'm not just saying it.
I almost broke a boys knee because he felt the need to try and rub up on me..wasn't going to happen. Pushed him away and warned him once, second time? pushed him away and then kicked him with my steel toe boots <3
I mean..I warned him, but he still thought that I wouldn't..so he got kicked like I told him he would. Everyone that has sense and doesn't have a giant ego in my school knows that I'd probably win in a fight if they tried me, so rarely does anyone.
I make sure that it looks like self-defense on my part though. :3 I'm bad. XD

But anyway...I condone violence to solve things..
So I'm probably not one that goes too well with this post. XD
But I agree that over stupid things like looks that people shouldn't fight over...so that was the main reason I posted. rofl
