Furniture and paint help?

So, Kaytee has been in need of new furniture. My room is really little. And it currently is a mess, so I won't be taking any pictures for you guys. It fits a corner-fit desk, a queen sized bed, and a nightstand. My dresser is in my closet, and I'm thinking about taking the desk out, and getting a full sized bed. My room is currently a lavender color, which, it has been since before my grandfather passed, so about four years now. And I'm really tired of the color ): ANYHOW! I would like a <a href="http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=250564&CategoryID=38904"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">big dresser</a>. The one I currently have is just four drawers, and they're -small- drawers. I'd like one with a lot of drawers, and a mirror on it and such. I'm currently on Craigs List, looking for some new furniture. I'd like to paint my room a -bright- color. Like yellow, or a creamy orange, or something pretty. A light pink. Something bright, something that'll boost a mood, something that'll make you feel better. (: Something like that. After my mom graduates, I'll start actually going to look at furniture in person(: Anyhow. Suggestions?

My room is a colour called crusty straw >.> Sounds disguisting but it's a fantastic colour is my opinion. It's like a yellowy orange and it is BRIGHT! Mum hates it xD I -love- it, lights everything up and gives off happy vibes :P Light's up the whole house if the door is open >.> Try Autumn colours x] They always cheer me up

My mom painted our laundry room lime green. It actually looks good. I'm not one for bright colors so my room is mostly shades of gold, burgundy, and brown. Style is a lame attempt at rococo.

Um . . . a soft mint green is amazing, I remember my sister's room being that color and I LOVED just sitting in it. Especially with windows. XD I wouldn't know. My room is silver and brown. I just redid it, and it's beautiful.

My room is huuugee and it's purple and green. The top half is green, bottom is purple. (: I have a love-sofa in mine, but like you said, your room is small. Try a bright orange or do your favorite color. Add a "bright" in front of the color and WABAM! It's neon. xDD

I dont have color suggestions that werent already said soo yea. I have to say. My room has the worse walls ever. Those really fake looking wood things you get from store. annd i cant change them xD

I'd say go for a light yellow. Yellow is cheerful and bright by itself and can be matched up with different things for different effects. It goes easily with different things, so next time you get tired of the color, you can freshen it up with different colored curtains and bedspread.

I'll have to look at autumn colors (: I'll get some little test cans and paint a spot on my room.

Our bathroom back in our old neighborhood was painted lime green x: Mom wouldn't go for that.

I'll have to look at a shade of softer green, one that's not so bright.

I'm not really sure. Mom said that yellow would wear itself out easily, but I like its brightness. Like I said, I'll just have to get the tester cans ;D
