Yeah this is a sibling vent. Just getting tired of it though *sigh*

I have a little sister who is 12yrs old (joy years). Her name is Kelsey, btw. She never does anything to help around the house. My mom and I are always doing the dishwasher, cleaning, etc.

You can't even walk into her room its so dirty. There is stuff all over the floor and its been like that for a couple months. In the past my mom gets so sick of it that she will spend a whole day cleaning her room for her. What's the point though when it gets all messy within the next week? I tell Kelsey she needs to clean up her room soon because we may be selling our house but she just shrugs me off and says she'll do it over spring break. We have less than a week left of spring break! Im pretty sure her room will take her two days or she'll have to get up very early.

She's pretty disrespectful too. I tell her that our mom is upset about something she did and she really doesn't care. She'll say 'oh well'. Does she not understand how much stress my mom is under with my mom's dad (our grandpa) having cancer and my mom being out of a job? It is not right.

Kelsey always has to have the TV on too even when she's sleeping. She wakes up this morning, grabs cereal, and promptly turns on the tv. Its gorgeous outside and I'm sitting here by the sliding door where I can feel a breeze. I was already outside too. Not to mention, she eats too much. She had a bowl of cereal and is now going to have pancakes. I'm worried about her gaining more weight. She already calls herself fat so eating that stuff isn't going to help. She really only needs to lose 20lbs and she can do that before the fall but eating this stuff isn't going to help.

Lastly, my mom and I are always taking turns walking the dog but Kelsey never does it on her own. Occasionally she'll go with my mom but like I said, its never on her own to give one of us a break. This morning I was up before her and my mom was gone on an errand and left a note that asked for one of us to walk the dog. I turned around and went back into my room to change and I walked the dog right when I got up. When I got back, Kelsey was still sleeping and when she finally got up and saw the note, I aked her 'so who's walking the dog?'. She gives some lame excuse like, 'well I just got up'. She was hinting that I do it. I asked her who would walk the dog even though I already did just to see what she would say. I'm not surprised.

Yeah, I can be lazy but I am not leaving a mess around the house, I am helping my mom with things, and Im not eating a bunch of crap food or giving my mom stress. Her laziness wouldn't bug me so much if she just volunteered once in awhile or was not 'snappy' at us.
