It's in the 80's today. Which, normally, I wouldn't mind, because in Ohio we had a few waterparks to go to, so we were always near water, and we had season passes

Now. Here, the beach is 4 hours away, if you go to South Carolina. The beaches in SC aren't my favorite, they're dirty x: The ones on the outer banks of NC are better. But they're 6 hours away, depending on the ones you go to. There is no body of water near here, and pools don't open for another month. So I went for a bikeride, got lost in the neighborhood next to mine, then ended up on the main road, which I really don't know how that happened...Maybe it's because of eight roads with the same name? o.o And then now I'm home again ;D After I stopped by a friends to refill my waterbottle. Anyhow. I got some suns on my back/face/neck/arms today ;D And it makes me happy, so maybe I won't be too pasty when the pools open. Heat is good(: Hopefully we'll make it to the beach sometime this year.

A few?!? xD Especially in Sandusky but ya know, lots of those are year round and such.

So far today its in the 70s and the past couple days it has been gorgeous! I heard we reached 90 at some point but I dont believe that. I think we just got upper 80s. Either way, its a good spring break in ohio!

Aahaha xD I was talking about in Cincinnati, because I only knew of one, and that was The Beach. Apparently in Columbus it snowed the first day of spring break

Kaz, it's hot. Too hot. I got home, and looked fried. Took a shower to get the sunscreen off my body [because even though it was 3 in the afternoon, I would still fry], and all the sun rose to my arms, shoulders, and face and I was like D; OWOWOWOWOW. Yick.

We got no snow here up by the lakes so thats epic! And yeah, if your by Sandusky, you're totally set with waterparks and such. Cedar pooinnntt!

And I mean, winters are nasty and seem long, but they go away eventually xD. We've been lucky this spring break so far. Nice and sunny and warm ^-^

It should be warm here by then Cyb xD. The trees should start getting leaves and such. Now what you have to worry about is if it rains or if its humid. ^-^; I think humidity is worse by the lakes.. it would make sense at least.

Ohio= best freaking state. Ever. Period. End of discussion. ;D The south is full of history, yes, but I can't stand it. It's too full of buildings and people building new things ;-; At least in Ohio, they knew when to stop D; Upper Arlington/Grove City/Xenia/Grandview, those are all the nice places ): Except Xenia. Xenia is pretty... Except for when you get attacked by tornadoes ;D And then the greater Ohio valley in the fall... -drools- I miss my home. Ahaha. And Cyve, if you're going to Columbus, chances are it'll be nice by next month xD

The south rox!!!! i ate grits this morning and rode my moped to the river to play wit my dogs ...maybe ill do sum fishing next time..and Myrtle Beach is teh best beach on the east coast unless you wanna wrestle sharks down in Florida..

A concert in may? What are you going to? Please don't tell me its ROTR xD And sunny are you kidding me? Its not great here. Ohio is also low on the list of 'happiest' states. Generally it was a poll and the outcomes could have been based on things like weather, economy, housing situations, etc. I want to move away from here but we may actually just be moving near Cincinnati

Grits=failure. I have never been able to stomach grits. o.o NC just isn't pretty. Its crowded. I would rather be farther south. Like Mississippi, or Georgia. One of those good ol' states. Myrtle Beach isn't the best beach on the east coast. There are no sea shells, and it's dirty water. You can't see in it at all. Florida beaches are good, depending where you go. My family always vacationed in Panama City Beach, so the water was almost always clear, because it came from the Gulf. Emerald Isle/other beaches off the coast of NC are pretty good. I like them. They have pretty shells(: Fishing is okay. I always fished off of Little Miami river in Ohio, or off of a few other lakes. Tarn: I don't know. I've never really liked this part of the south. Eh I guess if you had friends here it would play a part in you liking it up here. My mom and I want to move down to georgia, south carolina, or florida. I will admit, its been really nice here lately.

I take offense to that. o.o As a born and raised southerner, I love it. NC is a gorgeous state, you just happen to live in one of the biggest and most highly populated cities here. Our mountains are amazing during the fall/winter. And and, we have native sea turtles that nest on our beaches! And Myrtle isn't dirty, it's fun as hell. xD;

No not failure .. more like Sweet Sweet Achievement 'cuz grits are awesome and dont hate just cuz where u at its wack.. drive around sum on the outskirts of all those type of towns and youll find darn good country and thats for real...i agree emerald ilse is pretty but ppl dont neccesarilly go to beaches to worry bout whether mussels like to die and float on there beaches to be pretty..least thats not why ppl come from all over the nation to myrtle beach hmm i wonder why ?? cuz it way funner and the ppl are the prettiest things around..and yall got high crime rate cuz theres nowhere to run in that concrete kennel u call a big city you just bound to get caught besides who would WaNT high chances of getting robbed and shot up?? trust me dude stick to the South,but get out the city here thats just kinda redundant living there when ur still in the south sorrounded by all that land and nature..but thats my opinion idk

There isn't land and nature in North Carolina ;] Even in the mountains it's busy. And everyone flips because it snows. I'm like. Oh. There's 1/2 an inch of snow on the ground...Why aren't we in school, again? O_o Anyhow. I'm officially sunburnt o.o My legs are -fried-. OH! Holland: I saw you posted. Your right, the mountains are pretty, but the colors compaired to anywhere up in the north/midwest [New York, New Jersey, Maine, etc] is a lot prettier because of the amount of rainfall and such. Myrtle just isn't clean D< The water is really muddy. I can't see my feet ;-; I could see my feet anywhere else at a beach. Just. Not at Myrtle. And we have native sea turtles? O_o Where?
