I think I might possibly kill my phone. I have the LG VX5500. And. It SUCKS. Big time. Its a good phone for messaging and everything, but if you talk on it, it gets heated up to the point where it burns your face. I've had to replace it 3 times. First time it was just acting weird. Second time, it kept freezing up, third time, it switched itself to hands-free, and refused to come out. And it was 3 days out of warranty, so they made us pay 50 dollars for a FREE PHONE. Thats right. Now, it's a FREE phone. One of my adult friends has it, and she's had to replace it twice. For the same reasons. And the battery life isn't worth anything. Now, it froze up so I had to take the battery out. And the little thing that holds the battery cover on, its a little hole with a ledge, it broke off -_- Battery cover is still on, but I'm about to kill this phone. And I can't upgrade until August. Dammit.

I feel for you Sunny! *glares at all malfunctioning cellular devices* >.> <.< ><# It's horrible..I'm so happy mine is able to be upgraded this month. x.o I can't be on a call for more than a minute...or else it dies. ;-; it's horrible!

Verizon makes me mad sometimes xD I got my phone back in December '08, and I'm glad they're not making me wait until December '10 o.o

Some of Verizon's phones are really bad problem wise. I had a friend with a Chocolate she had to replace EIGHT TIMES. I have to replace my enV2 four times, and I've already replaced my Alias 2. My current alias is malfunctioning, the keys stick and several buttons have randomly broken. I'm sorry to hear it heats up like that, mine only does that wit charging. All of your problems sound completely aggravaing! I swear all the phones hese days ar jsut made to break so you have to buy a new one. I miss my first phone which I dropped about a thousand times to no ill effect, and lasted two full years before having any problems. Darn fancy phones! *shakes fist* I'm so sorry you have to wait! Good luck riding it out!

My mom actually has had no issues with her phone. Maybe it's because I'm a heavy texter and it's on 24/7 because I don't like turning it off o.o

Do the reviews look good? I've never preferred a touch screen phone, but they do look pretty cool!

Four stars overall, most issues has been with the touch screen.

probably 50% of people I know have a chocolate 3, it's a really good phone. I like it a lot. No problems so far, and only one person I know was having problems. He just had to replace the battery, it wasn't the phone, and he got it under warrenty if I remember right. I know a lot of people with the chocolate touch as well and they're very nice if you like touch screen :]

LG phones usually have shorter lives.. They kinda pop them out like bunnies.. Lol. That's why I have a Samsung.. I think Samsung is like a god of strength or something somewhere lol My friend had an LG Rumor (Sprint) and went through seven in a year because it would just break. My mom had an LG Voyager and it's speaker and vibrate quit working after a week.. My other friend had an LG EnV 2 and it doesn't vibrate and half the buttons don't work and it has never been dropped even.. I've only had Samsung phones.. I have an Alias2 currently and I've thrown it and it's fine lol. I used to have an SCH-A950 which was okay and never broke but I don't like texting with word lol I think it's LG overall.. They want money, money, and more money lol in my opinion.

I hate LG XD I might be getting either the EnV Touch (even though the majority of the reviews say it's horrid. ;-;) Or I might get the Samsung Rogue.. Only got 10 days until I can order it, so gotta decide by then. XD I need to get ride of this horrid EnV rofl From the reviews, these phones look good: Samsung Rogue Chocolate Touch Samsung Convoy Motorola Droid (too expensive for me

but I do want it.. XD) I doubt I'll get the EnV Touch though...they say the battery life is horrid, and if the screen were to stop working and broke...I don't think that I could go a week or so without texting people. XD I'm horrid with needing to text lmao

My mom and sister have it and it's a decent phone.. The touch screen kind of takes forever to get used to and sucks a little lol.. But it's okay. I heard they were going to make the iPhone 4G for Verizon.. Hopefully If I were you I'd get a Samsung lol =]

Verizon probably won't be getting the iPhone, they refuse to pay Apple the price of it. I don't really use touch screen phones. I've got big fingers and zero nails. Thats why I chose the enV touch, it's got widely spaced keys ;D I just think that the majority of the people who use it are teenagers, and we text. A -lot-. And it'll kill the phone life. My friend Kara has it, and she loves it. Hasn't had an issue with it. I guess it just depends on the phone.

Had it replaced, and that one broke too. I just went back to using my first phone I ever got xD Thank goodness my contracts up in June or July. Im getting the Samsung Mythic

NOW IT WONT EVEN CHARGE DAMMIT! -headslams- And its warranty ran out in Feb. And I got it December 23 '09. So I've had it all of four months. I'm about to call Verizon and raise hell. Maybe they'll give my mom and I free upgrades. I mean, half the country pays them $100 a month in phone bills. I think they can afford it.
