New phone? :D Help? Suggestions?

I get to upgrade my phone here in August, which is about time, because I've had to replace my crap phone 3 times D< My mom has the EnV 2, which I might inherit, but I really don't want it. Anyhow. I use Verizon Wireless, and any of the Chocolates is out of the question. Apparently, they're bad phones. The Droid might possibly be out of the question, also. I was looking at <a href="http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=4999"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">this</a> phone, the Nokia Twist. <a href="http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=5169"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Motorola Devour</a> Might not be able to get this, though D; <a href="http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=4787"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">EnV Touch</a> I really like this phone o; Anyhow. Any keyboard phones, preferably QWERTY keyboard, and I really like LG, but any cool looking phone o.o With good quality. Any suggestions? ;D

I had the EnV 2 and I currently have the EnV Touch. I actually prefer the EnV 2 than the touch. With the touch, my sister and I have both accidentally called people because of the touch screen. A bunch of my calls get dropped and I have a harder time getting a signal to send texts. With my EnV 2, I never really dropped calls, accidentally dialed, or had issues with texts. I guess the touch is nice because the keys are bigger and it has more features. I just like the EnV 2. xD guess its just a personal preference

My brother has the EnV Touch aswell, and Has the same Dropped calls, Service(signal) issues, and Phantom Dialing. the touch lock is really easy to unlock, sliding it into your back pocket can even Unlock it. We all have EnV twos. I loved it.

Uhm, dunno if you get them in the us, but a samsung genio qwerty ? ( otherwise known as samsung B3210 or samsung rodeo) I have it, and its pretty good, and robust. Its got quite small keys though, so you should really have small fingers or nails xD Its uncannily like the blackberry curve (in terms of looks) and is about 200 bucks cheaper

Samsung Ultra Touch ftw, no idea if it's available to you though It has a keypad AND touchscreen, aka it's a slide phone.

So if you get sick of typing on the touch screen you can just switch to the keypad

I'm a nail-biter AND I have big fingers xD Fail. Clozo: I'll have to look that up. I do like the EnV touch, it's preferred to the EnV2 or 3. I don't talk often, thats just the thing. I text mostly. And my phone'll start staying in my purse. Just wondering, though, does it have the lock feature? Where you go to settings, phone settings, phone lock, enter your password, and then lock your phone? So no one can make calls or send texts?

Yup, you can lock all kinds of things like photo's, calender, phonebook and the normal ones as well as the entire phone. I personally have the messages and call log locked, came in handy many times

I know D; The reviews on the Touch aren't too bad. Most of the bad ones come from people who use it as an internet phone. I don't use my phone for internet o.o Just for texting. And a few calls. I'll ask Mad... *goes to get phone*

It seems like most of the issues people have is with pocket dialing and the touch screen freezing. My phone has neither, and it'll freeze when I text. And my boyfriend doesn't have a touch phone, but he'll pocket dial me, too, by accident. So. It's no big deal, really. Touch screens can and will go out sometimes. A friend of mine had to constantly recollaberate his touch screen, or his texts made no sense. Overall, it's a 4-star phone, Logan had it and it worked fine. So, I've no issue with it o.o

I don't know if Verizon carries Walkmans, but whatever you do DON'T GET IT. XD I had to replace mine about 5 times until I got a completely different phone, I like to sleep with my phone under my pillow and if I did the phone would break or if I dropped it like an inch the screen would black out, but none of my other phones do that. In fact I still have my first cell phone from when I was 12 and it still works perfectly.

Stetson and I have Chocolate touches and love them. >.> They're fast and have a really sensitive touch, they're also like $20 at Walmart with an upgrade. Sister's friend has the twist and doesn't like it, I've personally never messed around with one though. EnV touch SUCKS. Austin had one and had it replaced more than 6 times, and one of my friends from school has one and hates it also. It has a lot of battery problems. Everyone that I know that has one has dropped it at least once, and guess what happens when you drop it. It resets ALL of your phone settings and you have to go in and redo them all. Blackberry Curve is a good phone, I don't like the interface and set up, but the phone itself is good. I'd also stay away from the smart phones. Stetson went through 3 before he settled with the Chocolate.

If I were you I wouldn't get an LG... They don't last long and they come out with new ones too fast

I like Samsungs, I have an Alias2 which is working fine, but they're very very popular The EnV touch's touch screen sucks.. At least compared to my iPod Touch's screen lol I think they're coming out with the iPhone 4G for Verizon I hope =]

We own a lot of LGs. LG flatscreen, LG phones, LG washer/dryer... We have a Samsung TV upstairs, and it didn't last. My parents all had Samsung phones that didn't last. My phones just retarded o.o -glares at it- It's really nice looking, but it's really crappy. Plus, touch screens aren't really my kind. I'd normally use the keyboard, unless I'm in class. I'm not sure exactly though. I've got four more months to figure it out ;D
