My manager keeps putting me on the schedule for work at 3:30 on SCHOOL days. I get out of school at 2:15, get home around 2:45. It takes about 15 minutes to get to work. You do the math. I walk in the door, change clothes, turn around a leave again. I told my manager 3:30 was too early after school, which I guess made her mad because she cut me from 20 hours a week to about 8. x.x I'm back up to 20-25 hours and I'm scared to mention it again.

OFF TO WORK. fml.

I take it you drive to school, so just change at the end of fourth period. Go into the bathroom towards the end of your fourth period, change clothes, and just lock your backpack and things up in your trunk.

The fact that I could change at school is beside the point.. I mean, I have plenty of time to get changed, it's just after being at school since 6:45, it would be nice to just sit down for two seconds and chill.. and I can't do that. ;-; And I'm not complaining about my job, I love work. xD 3:30 is just too early right after school lol.

Muhaha buffy get out of school at... 2:48 and has to be at work at 3:00. I don't have time to go home or anything else, i go straight from school to work. it sucks. but it brings home a paycheck every monday =D

I ride at 3 on most days. School gets out 2:15, and I pretty much have to do the same thing. Except change into riding gear. I run in the house, throw down my stuff, get changed and fill my water at the same time, run out. And I'm still almost always late. I speedtack my horse. XDDD

Wooo, welcome to the adult world. I just want a job because my parents aren't giving me any free rides throughout life. I buy my own car and pay for my insurance, no questions asked. So I'm going to have to save up for a few years... But theres a plaza a mile or so up the road from my house within bike riding/walking distance. ;D

...School gets out at 3:15 for me. xD Pretty late. :P But that sucks. Even if it was at like 4:00 it would give you more time to just take a break.

My mom bought my car, but that's because it was dirt cheap.. and I pay for my own insurance, lol. That was the deal with the car. And 'adult world' as you put it, doesn't involve 6 hours of school ON TOP OF 4-6 hours of work. It'll just be 8 or so hours of work. There's a big difference between a 6 hour day and a 12 hour day. >.< I don't have time to sleep at night, so it'd be nice to get a nap in after school before work. Or at least to give me time to get homework done before work so I can go to bed when I get home. D;

Ehh. My parent's are gonna make me buy either my own car from eBay or Craigs List, or buy my mothers Passat from her. Which, I shouldn't buy because it's a 6 cylinder engine, and my mom goes eighty and thinks she's going speed limit. Insurance I'll figure out x: Really? With my mom it involves six hours of school, including a clinic rotation, and then maybe another six hour shift or possibly a twelve hour one. It's really no different, even my dad has to come home from work and do more work with no rest in between.
